If you've watched movies and thought that every single human character is a real actor, then you've been tricked.

CG people are all over movies now, mocapped people and faces are everywhere, besides all the CG backgrounds, lighting, weather, animals and explosions, any director who says that there are no visual effects in his movie is lying.

Lucas Arts made a 100% CG character in Devil Wears Prada which till today no one has identified who, Double Negative had mocapped faces in Bourne Supremacy during action scenes.

At this point, CG is so good that nobody knows that they've been looking at sexy pixels. The only reason people still think that the technology is bad is because of the huge difference in quality of CG animation between high and low budget movies.

Humans are extremely good at noticing details and finding the uncanny valley, but now CG is already nearing the peak of realism.

Just to add to that, Gamespot will stream Kojima's press conference in less than two hours. You can watch it here.

Huh what a weird way to advertise a single game. Making the public believe beforehand they're two separate titles.

So Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain together are "Metal Gear Solid 5". If the "The Phantom Pain" is MGS5's subtitle though, then what is "Ground Zeroes" for? Just a prototype name?

Or is it like two games in one?

So all those weird stuff from the trailer has to be Big Boss still not awakening completely and having memories from Snake Eater. Still just how many times has Big Boss in a coma? Not even Homer Simpson went through this

I wonder if the guy with the blonde hair that protected Big Boss is Ocelote. Probably. After the new trailer, I am very excited to play this.
I still have to catch up on Peace Walker first, though.

This hospital's unusual look makes me think the scene of the 9 years is a dream.

It must be him, the mustache never lies. The cowboy boots too.

David Hayter said that they haven't asked him to voice Snake.

Then again, can we take that at face value?

I'd imagine the confusion is because it looks like Big Boss has something lodged in his skull. Most likely a large part of why he was in a coma for 9 whole years.

I guess it was removed safely or something at some point between this game and Metal Gear (MSX) though.

Has anyone noticed that when Big Boss falls unconscious in front of Miller he has his two arms and in the hospital he misses one?
