The heroine is still a pink-haired childhood friend, I think she had a strong mind based on her visuals, if you don't like her, you should pick the blonde oujo-sama like most people here. I thought that when I first see the visuals, I thought the main heroine would be a black-haired yamato nadeshiko but I was wrong.

Well, I don't think we can really get into true game spoilers in this thread (perhaps someone should make a game thread?) but the outline of the four main heroines is basically:

Spoiler for Basic Character Outline - no more than was written in game promo material:

Mio: Protagonist's long-time childhood friend, a bit of an airhead/klutz but very good-natured; has no experience jousting, but gets involved due to a certain misunderstanding.

(The other three heroines are all "ojou-sama" variants, so that goes without saying.)

Celia: Student Council president, cool/collected/powerful, and best current-day jouster in the school. With the protagonist as her begleiter, domination would seem assured. Senpai to the protagonist.

Noel: Refined, self-confident, and a bit flirty, believes she has what it takes to be the next champion, with our protagonist's help. Same age as the protagonist.

Lisa: A tsundere, anti-social "genius"; doesn't believe she needs help from anyone, especially not a begleiter, to prove how good she is on her own. Kouhai to the protagonist.

(In case you missed my update to the earlier plot outline I posted, "begleiter" is the name given to the assistant/"companion" for the jousters, whose job it is to make sure the riders and their horses are in top shape, and to give them advice on strategy. A good begleiter is said to be essential for those who aim to be champions.)

Questions about how the plot is likely to go should really be directed to the game thread once someone creates one.

I was disappointed when the manga was doing Mio's route, but another manga adaptation is doing Celia's route, so that was good. Though I must say, Mio gets treated too well even in the game. I wont say why since it would be spoiling, but Im sure most of the people who has completed the game understand why Im saying that.

I hope for Celia's route. I like her looks and seiyuu. Lisa looks good too. Just hope they won't make osananajimi route. The only not boring osananajimi I saw were Amane from Grisaia no Kajitsu.

I am getting too much off topic but i will answer that one

Spoiler for Grisaia no Kajitsu and Meikyuu spoilers:

Kazuki and Amane met during "Angelic Howl" and Amane heard from Kazuki that she had a "cute" younger brother during that time. She hasn't met Yuuji untill Kajitsu and thus she is not an osananajimi.

Sachi on the otherhand is one, because if you read Sachi's story then you would know that the both of them met and played with eachother when they were children and one day Yuuji told her that he can't meet/play with her when it was Sachi's birthday because he had some "family issues" and those problems were seen in Meikyuu. Which was that the entire instable family broke apart after the death of Kazuki , which was a result of the "Angelic Howl" in Amane's route.

So the only osananajimi in Grisaia is Komine Sachi and personally she is one of the better heroines in the Grisaia series

With the exception of Key/Type-Moon stuffs, i've never found VN adaptations genuinely intriguing/hella fun ride. They're usually plain, bland, and dull for the most part. And this one might be no different

I hope that, if this show is going to have a one-heroine-wins ending, Eriko Nakamura's character won't win. Her character already won in Hoshizora e Kakeru hashi and KoiChoco. It'd be nice for Ai Shimizu's or Kei Mizusawa's character to win this time. I also hope that the show will give Kei Mizusawa's character plenty of opportunities to shine.

I wonder how many fans of the Yosuga No Sora anime will buy this show since it features Sora's seiyuu, Hiroko Taguchi, in mainstream animation again.

It would also be nice if Ai Shimizu got an opportunity in this show to use the voice she used for Ariel (Dai-sensei) from Kore wa Zombie desu ka?:

Well, the "default heroine" is pretty much guaranted to win, given the limited number of episodes. So yeah, Mio is the best bet if you are concerned about "who wins" or who wil get the most focus.

That's a good question. It can be viewed from 2 perspectives: Those who know her work would most likely welcome this one. However, those who know her work, and want/expect to see CERTAIN roles of hers again (points to Sora) and don't see it, then there you are.

At least one review of the game (in English) has highlighted how Lisa might as well be "Sora Kasugano 2.0" given her seiyuu, her hair, and physical proportions (though not the hair and eye colours, of course). Then again, anime artists/character designers are known to crib designs from others (look at Sora Takanashi from PapaKiki! and Haruhi Suzumiya from her eponymous show, for instance). I wouldn't be surprised if Kei Komori had played Yosuga no Sora and liked Takashi Hashimoto's design for Sora so much he decided to make his own version for her. From what I've been able to tell, Lisa also inherited some of Sora's aloofness (though this was from her antisocial nature--I don't know if this is the case for Lisa). I think Sora's fans will come out in healthy quantities to see Lisa. Hiroko Taguchi (the seiyuu for these two characters) certainly deserves more mainstream success than what she's been getting.

Also, who is the character designer for this show again? The little I see on the website doesn't look very much like the ones in the game. To me it seems like Kazuya Kuroda (the one who handled the designs for the Princess Lover H-OVA series) at least took more care to make character designs that better resembled Kei Komori's originals. It's too bad, really.
