It's not really worth a proper translation (because none of us can join it anyway) - just something along the lines 'With Sayonara no Tsubasa, Macross F has come to a new frontier. But with the 3rd anniversary approaching, the fanclub is still expanding its wings. It'll live on within us, so let's continue it together!'

And I was hoping for an OVA announcement. ;_;
I guess it would have been too much awesome in too short a time, with the news from yesterday that Tali will probably return as a squadmate in Mass Effect 2 and on the Star Wars: The Old Republic front the news that Jedi Consulars and Sith Inquisitors will get a tanking talent tree. Ahem, sorry,that's a bit OT. Science fiction, yay? Quote:

A developer posted a comment on the Tali thread, regarding that BioWare is well aware of her popularity. It sounded in context very much like a "Don't worry, we won't leave you hanging, guys!" to me.

I honestly have her high up on the list of being NPCified for ME3. They did not get a ton of reasonably well-known actors to play Quarian Admirals for just one mission. The Quarian VS Geth thing is goin' down, and Tali is going to be right in the middle of it, which suits me really, awesome characters should get awesome plots. She will be in the game, the question is just if she'll join the squad or not (personally I expect she won't join the squad until that crisis is resolved... and if she survives, poor girl isn't all that tough). That said, we probably shouldn't be causing a thirty car pile-up by jumping tracks into Mass Effect 3 in the Wings of Goodbye movie thread.

She doesn't even look like a triangle rival there, but like their kid with a pet... (and I admit this as a Sheryl/Ranka fan). She's way too short in relation to them, looking at the back seems like a family spending time together.

Thanks for the great images darkplataform
Kresphy posted something at MW forums, I think it's an Animadia article with Kawamori commenting about certain things from the movie like the triangle, Alto's fate, Sheryl and Ranka. And as always he posted it in japanese so I hope someone could please translate some of it. Spoiler for Japanese:
He also comments that Frontier is now complete but there will be a magical girl Ranka spinoff (?) and then about the 30 anniversary of Macross next year
