i am personally thrilled that this death note was worth watching! it looks like the darker and more suspenful death note is back, although i do miss the NIGHTMARE themes i caould really care less for the new one. other than that, yay!

Guidance

I am speechless as to how L and Light's combined intellect trigger the chain reaction sequence of events that forced Higuchi to step out from his hiding spot and race toward digging his own grave for what would be the unavoidable outcome for the next episode.

The anxiety and tension rose every second to the tempo of the infamous biblical song track playing, as the tune intensified with the rage and frenzy of Higuchis' tantrum due that he'll be soon exposed before national TV.

Spoiler:

I do agree with Omni and Garten about L's erratic behavior with the food. Those shots of L holding the pastries and cakes felt more like I was watching a culinary show, than taking the plotline seriously and more on how the episode developed.
