The current novel thread. Uses the latest novel so its safe to say that its an spoiler thread.

Without the use of spoiler tags but for people that wants to use it then use it.

Most of the power users shows much later in the novel to begin with. And its not translated and aired in anime. So it will be full of spoiler. And adding spoiler tag every post is a hassle.

Even if people are feared to be spoiled. They still visit it to begin with because they are curious about the abilities.

Could we break up the Novel Discussion into multiple parts? Say volumes 1-6, 7-12, 13-18 etc.?
Maybe even into smaller parts. That way we could have more people on the same page. Also, could we have a brief summary at the beginning of these threads if possible?

Not a good idea, considering how many times we spill topics all over and out of their native threads, separating the novel threads into different parts would just be messy

However... I do have a post in the very first page of that thread, just two steps below serenade_beta's novel images. If you want, I could edit the post to place the short summaries of the volumes there... After I'm out of camp next week that is

How about a thread for the esp power website. That way the Railgun Generic Discussion Thread won`t be de-railed any further, and we have a thread dedicated to the discussion of the esp powers we get from that site.

That is a good question, we should try to put the character's names into the generator and see what happens.

All names are in corresponding kanji.

Espers with known powers in Index (including Touma as special case): has canon results. Exception is Tsuchimikado Motoharu.
Espers with known powers in Railgun but not in Index: unusual results.
Aisa Himegami: unusual results.
Magicians: unusual results.
Hyouka Kazakiri: unusual results.
Normals: unusual results.
Espers to appear in later parts of either Railgun or Index: unusual results.

Pretty much leaves, Accelerator, Touma and Misaka Mikoto giving out canon results.

That tells me that it's not updated to the abilities exposed in Railgun, so it's canon in a small percentage. Not enough canon, though.

A thread for all the discussions about how things work, be it technology, magic or how an ESPer bends reality. Kind of like the Tech Thread in Nanoha.
