Well I’m sorry for giving real life examples where chicks really swooning for good looking well conversed guys in tuxedos on parties be it weddings, birthdays or business conferences/meetings even though they lack prior prolonged interactions. I attended few and bunch of them, experienced and watched them and thus why I find Seika falling to Teppei to be completely normal.

Sorry, you guys just seemed a little tense. The main plot of the story did indeed sink to the bottom of the sea after the first episode. Now it's just all about how "Man I wish my high school was like that" scenario.

Being cool and handsome attracts the eyes, but if you're boring or just can't socialize then those eye pleasing attributes will always sink to the bottom of the sea with the plot. I think I pointed this out due to personal experience. I'm considered eye candy, but I have a hard time opening up to people....

Series has some good potential, but people seem to only care about fan service.

Men in suits look nice, but in the world of "Japan" they all look the bloody same. Not being bias, so forgive me if it sounds so. But when you walk around Tokyo and you see a herd of salary men, nothing stands out because the all look the same. Most suits are basically the same in appearance, so for me, it's about the high class fashion cloths > suits.

No, I didn't say he is the same as any eroge protagonist (personality). I said that eroge protagonists all have that shadow eyes.
Also, quoting

Means you are saying the attributes of what you quoted is not true for "interesting protagonists", which isn't true at all. I was talking about eroge protagonists, stated right there.
If you were talking about protagonists in eroges, it isn't true obviously.
If you were talking about protagonists in anime, it still isn't true because all protagonists have eyes.

It is different for some eroges though, but those are the type that get really messy. Now if we are talking about them, then...

No, it really does work that way . Grab any reasonably good looking man, put him into a tux, tell him to smile a lot and look confident bout himself, and push him into any high-class gatherings. I can guarantee you that within no time females would active try to engage him. Bonus if the event is large.

From my observation there are a few prerequisites.
1. The mood of the environment is very important. The more high-class the room is, the easier it is to influence the ladies' judgment.
2. The dude must look confident. Humor is a bonus, but self-confident (without being pompous) is so important I can't stress it enough. Smiling also works. Not the goofy kinds, but the mature ones. Ladies are very attracted to that.
3. Social status help as well, but it depends on what events you attend (a business party can be drastically different from a classical music concert). On the other hand I believe having a few interesting hobbies you are ready to share (for example, fencing ) is what does the trick.

I am too lazy to think up the rest. But rest assure, females can be easily influenced under certain circumstances...At least, from my observation from my fellow male comrades...and advices my female friends (I never tried these techniques myself, so don't quote me on it)



Back to the show. Epi 3 sees a noticeable drop in animation character facial structures in some lesser important scenes. But the females are still...damn...I hesitate to use the word hot for anime characters, but gosh

But only Charlotte retains her facial structure throughout the episode. Even Slyvia suffered misdraws in certain scenes.

...Aaand as for Charlotte, one could say that there's a reason for her playfulness which explains why she acts this way even in front of an engaged couple. She's that kind of character—lively and playful—but the anime is really overdoing it with her. Can't say that I'm all for it, and right now my preference grows more in favour for Sylvia.

Not to mention, more Sylvia airtime could possibly lead to more airtime for Maria and that cool dad of theirs! I'm not really that interested in Jiya even as a supporting character.

Those maids of Teppei's better be his personal bodyguard squad. I mean, seriously, his grandfather knows his life may be in danger. It wouldn't hurt if the anime shows Teppei having some bodyguards or something.

Revenge? Now that you mention it... The plot hasn't even touched on that since the first episode, huh.

Now that you mentioned it. . Still, the time is moving slowly at the moment, so I think it's accepatable (at least for me). I hope the next episode will hint on it, at least a little . .

I must say i enjoyed episode 3 considerably less than the first two, it just seemed to have lost its spark. Along with the budget, because this was quite low-brow.

The duel .... made little sense. Why would Sylvia charge in during the second round as if she wanted to chop Teppei's head off instead of repeating the lunge for same result is beyond me ... aside from the director wanting a "cool" scene and the plot demanding a draw that is. Oh well, at least it served a setting stone for the two to become friends more or less, so not all was lost.


While i was unsure about Seika during the last episode, she turned out to be immensely more annoying than i would have preferred. An arrogant, vindictive ojousama wannabe - the more i listened to her, the more i realized i would rather be elsewhere than listening to her, because she is little besides being extremely annoying. I hope against all hope the writers decide to foget about her instead of the assassination subplot Why does Teppei care about her sit-around-the-table club anyway ? Not like he lacks popularity (He would prefer less of it), and not like he lacks much more enjoyable company, so heh ...

What really stood out this episode was the low budget though - did they spend it all on the first 2 episodes ? Numerous still shots, minimalistic movement, some reused animation, and the character design looked slightly weird at points as well. They didn't even animate Teppei's and Charlotte's dance during the ball (You know, the moment the whole episode was building up to), just showed 5 or so overly sparkly stills with a camera pan, how sad was that (Was kinda fun to see the crowd comment how wonderful the dance looked - not like i could relate you know, 5 still do not an impressive spectacle make ). BGM seemed to be mismatched as well on many occasions, doing nothing for the mood.

Oh well ... lets see where it goes during the next week, with Teppei having to host his own party and all - i just hope the show regains the quirky atmosphere from the first two episodes, because this one felt rather boring and sloppy.

Well in my opinion I think this episode laid down some important groundwork, along with foundational development of the heroines, but most interestingly in that flashback during the conversation with Yuu about Teppei's parents again. We did only see them for one episode so I think its also important that one develops the motivational aspect desire to avenge them, which I still feel will play an important part down the line. You don't pull out the swords if you don't intend to use them as I said

just watched the episode 3, pretty good so far..all the girls are cute and seems like we will have another party for the next episode..I would assume in the next episode the main hero will dance with Seika?? I bet she will use that excuse "I will have to try it out by myself" in order to get closer to the main hero

Did Yuu got rejected already? the main hero said she looks like her mother I don't have the game, but I would assume in the game, if you choose that dialogue (if there is one), then the Yuu line will get blocked already
