Anywhoo, unlike regular BB, she never split undesirable personality traits into Alter Egos. That's how her personality is different. So she's very much "isekai BB."

Managed to get Alice in 5 tickets. Tried to roll in Saber Okita's banner with 10 tickets and 30 quartz but I only got NP4 Siegfried and NP3 Dobrynya. I'm fated to never get Okita in JP.

I haven't done the GSSRs yet. Almost all the ones I want are with the others I already have. The odds of getting a new Servant is 50/50 so I'm not sure whether to go for it. I'll think about it on the last minute.

I finally got around to playing Samurai Remnant and I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. They actually put a lot of effort into this game, it's good enough to be recommended to people who aren't fans of Fate, unlike Extra/Extella.

My only complaints would be that there are major plot points that are never explained

Like why Takeru didn't get any knowledge from the current era when all the other servants seemed to like in a normal HGW (even if it wasn't one). Or more importantly, what was even up with the fifteenth servant? They make her out to be important for the Waxing Moon ritual but she's completely irrelevant in all three endings. Did I miss something? I even played the DLCs but nothing there either.

Maybe this is answered in the collab with FGO?

Other than that, I really loved the story, characters, and the gameplay. I wish they hadn't telegraphed the twist about Iori so much though. They made it way too obvious, especially in New Game+. And I must say I love Musashi even more after this game. She had so many hilarious moments, they really amped up her shotacon power level in this.

Now I'm just going to resume waiting for the rest of LB7.

I opened the game a couple of times before NY. Rolled Kirei and a few other servants on JP but that is all. Still do not have time to actually play (I am stuck with Kernunos fight son cannot progress any further in the story).

Oh, and on unrelated note: so many of my favorite VAs are in game but I am 99% sure my all time favorite female seiyuu will never get a Servant.

Some good moments. Alter KP is still absolutely awesome. So much attitude . Plus still a solid boss fight even with Kuku around to slowly strip down her HP buffs. Actually did require some thought to get through that.

I'm with the main cast. I get it's a bit too sappy or soft, but I appreciate the cast wanting to find a way to make things work. At least wanting to believe there's a chance to make it work with Olga Marie.

Well I suppose it makes sense that she left for the time being. Olga Marie already realized to some degree her role in all this and her relationship to the others. At least in terms of being an antagonist. So she stepped away before something bad would happen...Kind of sucks, but obviously she's not out of this story. She'll be back in some way.

And Daybit is some kind of absurd monster? Still not sure I have a good read on this guy even early into this section. But I get that he's absurdly OP.

Glory to Nitocris! If nothing else she's gotten a lot of moments in this story. Goes to show some servants even ones introduced years ago can get some real moments to shine. Though she also gets a lot of close calls. Things got rather dicey when that creepy psycho got his hands on her. Thankfully she was alright. But this guy is messed up.

Well the LB mystery seems pretty simple. Different timing in "aliens" arriving on Earth and thus by the time for more extinction events the dinosaurs were just chosen instead of humans.

Eresh Alter! Yep, she's still cute! Was a bit troublesome, but I suppose that's just how it goes. It does kind of suck that we managed to summon some good servants, but most of them are locked down in regions far apart from each other! But I do kind of like her argument. That it was a necessary choice to gain more power to accomplish their mission. Protecting themselves or protecting humanity? Eresh chose to protect the bigger picture (and her friend) even if it meant becoming a bit of a delinquent.

No shock (seriously no shock obviously) that Kuku smashed the heck out of the Border. Though I'm surprised no one points out that it wasn't even the worst option. If she didn't smack them out of the sky then Olga Marie would have obliterated them in the sky! They went from being definitely dead to nearly getting killed! So...kind of better?

Of course Daybit's flashbacks were conveniently incomplete. Though honestly his motivations only matter to the degree of whether they can be leveraged to stop him. Otherwise it doesn't really matter why he's a psycho that wants to destroy an entire planet! This guy is worst than the Beasts! At least they mostly only had it in for humanity!

No shock that Nitocris wants to look into the Alter thing. I wonder how that will turn out ? Definitely not like that banner hasn't already come and gone!

And the biggest jerk of this LB is conspiring with another jerk to wipe out our base of operations. Naturally! Also what is that flying moron's plan? Kill everyone and be the King of a couple of trees!?

Talking ancient dino has a bleak worldview. It really takes the "go with the flow" thing to the extreme. Nothing really matters, everything will end someday, so why bother caring? Hopefully the director making a rebound in her career Olga Marie doesn't take that kind of view. She's about the only one that can make a difference...Also Tepeu has Shiki's death eyes...so that's a thing! Might come in handy! This place might also be the easiest LB to not care about having it go down ever. It's doomed no matter what! Might as well cut down the tree, stop ORT, and get humanity back on top. Still sucks for them. Dinos seem pretty nice. I suppose in that sense it makes LB6's destruction the actual easiest to handle since 95% of faeries suck!

Tough spot for Vitch. Although she's not exactly someone I worry that much about . But taking on a deity isn't usually a cakewalk! Good move by Miss President swooping in to save some lives. She still can't commit enough to her gut to stay and fight for long. But she showed up to save some lives and that matters!

Batman saved the day...kinda. Wasn't a fan of letting Tlaoc let whatever secret she's got up her sleeve get revealed. Obviously she's got one knowing what class she is in the game, but I don't have a clue what it is . Good timing. That girl is a freaking tank and would have been a waste for Nitocris to make her Alter move now. That's bound to come later.

I think saying something more than "..." might have been helpful when dealing with Olga Marie! Like...explaining anything! The bad part got revealed so might as well reveal all you can before she blasts off!

Some nice verbal shots fired by the Dino King. Yeah, I'm pretty sure unleashing untold waves of bullets and napalm isn't exactly an environmentally friendly war method . Every word from that moron Izcalli is painful. I can't even blame Dino King for ripping into him. An absolute moron. He wanted the easy answer that would let him kill without thinking too hard. Instead he's left with the real messy answer. That the god he follows is from the people he despises while the one from his world is his "enemy" here. And naturally like a good idiot Izcalli couldn't handle reality.

Honestly while I like Goredolf's arc and Da Vinci in general I think both of them have been incredibly stupid regarding the U-Olga Marie situation. They have no means of stopping her ! How about looking at options that don't push her away or turn her into an enemy! I know this isn't the original Da Vinci, but isn't she supposed to be relatively intelligent!? Their Ace weapon flopped and they don't even have that anymore! Talking to her is literally their only option! Think about their own safety. Convincing her without a fight is the only option that gives them any safety to be concerned over! Why are they so desperate to make an enemy of someone they have zero means of defeating!? This group are professionals of pointing out everyone as their enemy but not great at having any solutions on survival!

I get Kadoc's logic for his plan. But I also think it's stupid. They barely have enough firepower with Chaldea as it is and he wants to split the teams up!? Combined they arguably don't have enough to beat Kuku, probably not Tez either, and yet he thinks splitting up is a good idea?

Well now that the "epilogue" chapter is over we can continue on .

Well credit to Kadoc for having "a plan". It just still wasn't one that was going to work. Daybit was obviously some kind of monster. It was a decent idea to power Koyanskaya up as much as possible. But at the same time...they didn't really consider Daybit a threat despite his background being nothing but red flags! They saw the flashback where this guy fought Camazotz 1v1 and didn't exactly lose! Sure they didn't know yet that he's a Beast, but that should have said enough! I will say though that Camazotz has been one of the more interesting elements in this LB. More so than Daybit that has the charisma of dried wood and Tez who is just kind of annoying (with less than stellar artwork), and Izcalli who is only good at making me want to throw things at his skull! Camazotz is just a solid antagonist. So Daybit is kind of a pain from that Camazotz says. He'll just throw as much as you throw at him back at you.

At least with Camazotz you have this interesting connection with Nitocris that has steadily built up. Their different views on leadership and their contrary paths. She forgot nothing and died. He forgot everything and can't die. Geeze though, Nitocris did something absurd! Pulling out her own heart to force an Alter state to give her a chance to counteract Camazotz was nuts! It worked, but still nuts. Weird she wasn't given as a playable support for this fight considering she was on banner for this LB. Maybe they really struggled with getting this LB done and were doing so while getting her playable version ready and cut corners?

No shock that Camazotz in his last(?) moments helped save Nitocris even if she didn't realize it. I half expect him to show up half-dead though and play some role in the last minute.

Of course only saved her for that sacrifice to come later. Nitocris was a badass. This shows how good they can be when handling characters introduced far earlier in the story. They can do great stuff with characters like Nitocris when they try. This was her shining moment. She was a badass and did so much before she left. Did the best she could to handle Tlaloc and create hope. Knowing that there was enough good in her to spare that girl's life. I'm sure she didn't calculate that when she went down they'd need a replacement, but it was good she did this.

But it was a pretty fun fight. Which was nice after a really hard one! Just spamming Nitocris Alter's NP until her opponent stopped moving!

My condolences to Tez in some ways. He's going into this exposition dump about ORT, life, death, and it's all flying over Izcalli's head . That moron doesn't have a clue what Tezcatlipoca is talking about and is basically dumbly nodding.

Oh joy, I get to stomp this idiot once more! Thank you game for this gift! Oh come on, just one break bar! I can't unleash true hell with just one turn and only Mash as a support! And now Tez stole my kill!? Oh it's on now man with the iffy art style ! Ok, that sounds really bad. But I did want to crush that guy. Oh well, I'll settle for Tezcatlipoca.

And oh my god. It's getting to the point where you'd have to pay me to roll for this guy! Team-wide stun spam that you can't purge isn't fun! It's annoying!

U-Olga Marie...you are the MVP of this story! My god she is simply the best. Showed up when needed, was the hero of the hour...and admittedly did mostly sit during that fight with Tezcatlipoca. Needed to Avenger him into oblivion after all. But she did good work against Daybit. I'll give them credit. It was a clever combat idea to basically make the fight harder if you filled out your roster completely. Though I still included Melusine as a third fighter up front since 2v2 wasn't as beneficial as going 3v3.

Daybit...yeah I still don't care about him. His backstory was noteworthy, but it wasn't interesting really. Wodime was a bit more so in that sense. This guy was just...a plank of wood the whole time. It's nice that he explained how Chaldeas was evil...without explaining anything! How was the plan of Olga's father going to make humanity despised amongst the cosmos? What is Chaldeas even supposed to do!? Explain things before you suicide to spark a boss fight you darn guy! The only thing I got from it is that the foreign god came from there. Which makes horrific sense since that's where Lev sent Olga Marie when he killed her (well that was a bit complicated). So it all makes sense if she emerged from there. I doubt Lev understood that much. He was part of Goetia, no reason to drop Olga Marie into Chaldeas when she could emerge as a full fledged Beast. Though who knows. Maybe that scumbag thought it'd be funny just in case Goetia's plans went south.

God almost lost Olga there. Nice job Wak. You a good T-Rex. Yeah, I suppose if the Foreign God was that alien in Area 51 then the rage makes sense. It presumably came in peace, but was tormented beyond measure. In that sense it makes sense as well why it seemingly merged with Olga Marie. She was also betrayed and subjected to a torturous death beyond comprehension. Lev was so proud of it after all...If in her pain she resonated with that alien that was also in pain then that makes sense. Though it seems like their connection is a strange mix with Olga's personality seemingly having more control but the alien seemingly having more of its memories dominant. Going to be tough to get through to her. But there's gotta be a way...

Ok so Olga sadly is stepping back for now. But at least Kuku swept in to help. They really do get saved an absolute ton in this LB. It's just pure good fortune at this point! Too bad things didn't quite work out and ORT still very much went into absurd overdrive mode! And Kuku ran off before her secret could be revealed. Great!

Let the solo raid begin!

This was pretty fun. It was cool to keep spacing out my servants. Got a ton of use from my 1* through 4* servants, but tried to only use the 4 and 5* servants very sparingly. Kind of creepy to see the data lost thing building up on the screen!

Screw this alien bug thing! Ok now I'm pissed ! Enough of Ereshkigal having to take tragic deaths against these freaking things. No wonder she's getting special treatment next year! She gave her all here and was amazing throughout. You are the best Ereshkigal, that's for sure!

Round 2 is pretty tough. Especially since I kind of thought round 1 was it and I didn't need to be THAT efficient . That's fine! We're just going to keep carving up this turkey then! He is hitting even harder now. Probably was a good move to use the lower rarity servants first before they started getting one-shot by this guy!

Tlaloc's sacrifice was beautiful. She really had nothing to do with Chaldea and did her own thing. She wasn't trying to stop ORT to save the world. She just came to that city expecting to die and found people she wanted to fight for. Even if they weren't "human" they were special to her. And they all fought together. They gave her hope and a reason to fight on, and in turn she saved them. Not all of them, but she saved more than would have lived otherwise. And she bought enough time. Just enough time to keep things rolling.

Sad that Protea and Beni couldn't survive past their part, but I get it. This thing was even more horrifying than it was before and there was no way to pull this sort of thing off without sacrifice. Protea Alter had some of the best lines though. Even if she's an Alter that doesn't mean she was unaffected. They are really leaning into Ritsuka being utterly wrecked by this struggle. The constant mass summoning, the intense battles, even Mash can't chip in as much due to the distance of Part 2 of this solo raid. Just absolutely running himself ragged, but there's no other way. Each loss just hurts all the more though. Yeah, winning gets everyone back...but seeing all the data loss makes it even worse. So I get Protea Alter not wanting to add to the grief of knowing she's done for. Best to go out with grace and have him figure it out later.

Tepeu's speech was really nice. It's the kind of moment that definitely raises this LB a bit higher for me. Still not anywhere near LB6, but it's good! Kind of nice to have a LB where so many "people" are cool. We have freaking dinosaurs armed to the teeth with guns. That's hilarious! Love it! But I also appreciate Tepeu's smaller and kinder moments. His stance that a truly balanced out society would end up this way. If you care about absolutely everyone equally and no one is special then there's no reason to advance, everything kind of becomes pointless. There's value in reaching for the stars even if mistakes are made.

Anyways, love the hilarity of the dinosaurs taking down a whole break bar themselves! Holy crap those dinosaurs did work!

U-Olga Marie . Well she gave her all and I respect that. She really did redeem herself and show who she was at her core. An awkward girl, but a good person. She came through for her friends. And no one can take that goodness away from her . A beautiful showing and even if it took so much to defeat ORT...she earned the emotions left behind in Ritsuka and Mash. She won't be forgotten.

Same for Kukulcan. Though her appearance was more pure badass. Obviously she went down too, but it wasn't too sad a thing. She finally got to live on her own terms. A LB King who was never our enemy.

Of course there has to be a final battle against Daybit! Of course! Not like the war against ORT was enough! But fine. If we have to crush this guy one more time that's fine!

One thought though. How the heck did the plan consider that Chaldea would destroy the Lostbelts (not sure why that was necessary for the plan) but it somehow thought they wouldn't turn on Chaldeas!? What literal reason did Marisbury or anyone else give this crew to do anything else? There isn't even an offer on the table! They just presumed that this group would rise above the insane challenge of destroying the Lostbelts and then...pack it in? At least try to entice them first!

I do like the potentially good news that Olga Marie's spirit origin is shattered, but still in the world. I can kind of see where the Olga Marie mentions over the past year or so are relating to. Hopefully we can put her back together and get her back. They claimed it'd be soulless and inferior, but I presume the latter just means she'll be only powerful enough to help us and not entirely OP! Hopefully we can get her officially back on the team.

But for now the Ordeal Call awaits. One takeaway clearly is that we're not close to being done yet. Unless the Ordeal Call ends with them taking on Chaldeas...that should be the third arc for FGO. Because I fully expect taking on an entire world (for whatever reason it was created) will not exactly be a simple task.

It's a cool game. The FGO collab counts as a sequel to the game, but I don't remember if that's answered. I haven't played the DLCs either, but that seems more material to answer there. The FGO collab wraps up characters like

And a happy ending despite the pruned timeline. Chiemon had a heroic last stand to save the day, even if he went to Hell, he seemed content. Yui was saved, while Takeru&Iori are finally reunited together and more aware of their feelings.

Started LB7 part 2 yesterday, section 12 made me really interested in Daybit. They're hyping him up a lot and there's quite a mystery surrounding him, hope it won't disappoint.

Alright, finished LB7. I really need to know one thing: were JP players warned ahead of time this would not be the end of part 2? Because I can't imagine their disappointment otherwise, given that this story raised a lot more questions than it answered.

I think the story was honestly rather weak compared to LB5 and 6. It's mostly saved by

ORT fully living up to its reputation and giving us lot of hype moments. It's actually crazy to think it was actually a less powerful variant of the one from PHH AND that he was weakened by his missing heart. It required 318 servants + U-Olga Marie + Excalibur cannon + Kukulcan to get rid of him.

As for the rest, the Deinos were really nice but their society was really boring, which I know is the entire point but still. Tepeu was cool, but I don't see the point of the twist that he possessed the mystic eyes of death perception when he never ended up using them. Shiki vs ORT has been one of the long standing debate of fans so I thought for sure he'd fight against him to give some sort of answer. But nope. They even teased us by having him ask for any weapon "even a knife", but he just fought with a gun and never removed his glasses. I don't think we needed that to tell Tepeu and Xquic were basically dino Shiki and Arcueid.

The whole amnesia thing was a bit too convenient but I enjoyed seeing more of Olga Marie. Found it weird that Guda acts so familiar with her when he barely knew her though, but Mash, I can understand. At least this time she went out in a blaze of glory instead of... you know. Her never noticing that she was missing her heart all along was 100% lifted from Kizumonogatari.

Kukulcan was more or less a bit more serious Kuku. Which makes sense since she's based on her. I liked her.

Camazotz was pretty cool, I wish he had time to switch sides and help fight ORT. But going out saving Nitocris isn't a bad end, even if she was on borrowed time at that point.

I didn't like Tezcatlipoca one bit, I had heard the character was really popular but I found nothing to like about him and a lot to hate instead. And it's not the good kind of hate, either. Seriously, he plain sucks.

Seeing so many alters of popular servants was nice. I could barely tell the difference between Ninkigal and Eresh though, I guess she just never changes
Best design is either Nitocris Alter or Kingprotea Alter, but I'd go with Nitocris.

Daybit was a let down. He didn't seem as powerful as he was hyped up to be and his backstory, while surprising, didn't really wow me.

And now for the big twist. The foreign God was from Chaldeas all along? And all of this was part of Marisbury's plan. Oh, and U-Olga Marie was actually just a servant and nothing more than a pawn (poor girl can't catch a fucking break). Kotomine was the only one of the disciples to know everything apparently, he came out of the whole thing completely unscathed, how does he do it? Love the guy though so I'm not complaining. There is one disciple unaccounted for which is the Count, but I doubt it's Dantes as it's way too obvious.

Yeah, I don't get how any of that makes sense, but I guess we have to wait until we get actual answers. I suppose that since Chaldeas can predict the future, Marisbury knew everything would go just as planned.

Regarding Olga Marie, I'm sure she'll be summonable eventually, but whatever they're going to be doing to her remains is just going to cause more suffering for the crew (mostly Mash, really).

If I had to rank the Lostbelts, it'd be: 6 > 5 > 1 > 7> 3 > 4 > 2.

If I recall, we didn't know of Ordeal Call, but we knew there was more to come still. At minimum, we knew there'd be a finale, and it'd likely either take place in Fuyuki or have a Fuyuki chapter between LB7 and the finale.

Alright, finished LB7. I really need to know one thing: were JP players warned ahead of time this would not be the end of part 2? Because I can't imagine their disappointment otherwise, given that this story raised a lot more questions than it answered.

I think the story was honestly rather weak compared to LB5 and 6. It's mostly saved by

ORT fully living up to its reputation and giving us lot of hype moments. It's actually crazy to think it was actually a less powerful variant of the one from PHH AND that he was weakened by his missing heart. It required 318 servants + U-Olga Marie + Excalibur cannon + Kukulcan to get rid of him.

As for the rest, the Deinos were really nice but their society was really boring, which I know is the entire point but still. Tepeu was cool, but I don't see the point of the twist that he possessed the mystic eyes of death perception when he never ended up using them. Shiki vs ORT has been one of the long standing debate of fans so I thought for sure he'd fight against him to give some sort of answer. But nope. They even teased us by having him ask for any weapon "even a knife", but he just fought with a gun and never removed his glasses. I don't think we needed that to tell Tepeu and Xquic were basically dino Shiki and Arcueid.

The whole amnesia thing was a bit too convenient but I enjoyed seeing more of Olga Marie. Found it weird that Guda acts so familiar with her when he barely knew her though, but Mash, I can understand. At least this time she went out in a blaze of glory instead of... you know. Her never noticing that she was missing her heart all along was 100% lifted from Kizumonogatari.

Kukulcan was more or less a bit more serious Kuku. Which makes sense since she's based on her. I liked her.

Camazotz was pretty cool, I wish he had time to switch sides and help fight ORT. But going out saving Nitocris isn't a bad end, even if she was on borrowed time at that point.

I didn't like Tezcatlipoca one bit, I had heard the character was really popular but I found nothing to like about him and a lot to hate instead. And it's not the good kind of hate, either. Seriously, he plain sucks.

Seeing so many alters of popular servants was nice. I could barely tell the difference between Ninkigal and Eresh though, I guess she just never changes
Best design is either Nitocris Alter or Kingprotea Alter, but I'd go with Nitocris.

Daybit was a let down. He didn't seem as powerful as he was hyped up to be and his backstory, while surprising, didn't really wow me.

And now for the big twist. The foreign God was from Chaldeas all along? And all of this was part of Marisbury's plan. Oh, and U-Olga Marie was actually just a servant and nothing more than a pawn (poor girl can't catch a fucking break). Kotomine was the only one of the disciples to know everything apparently, he came out of the whole thing completely unscathed, how does he do it? Love the guy though so I'm not complaining. There is one disciple unaccounted for which is the Count, but I doubt it's Dantes as it's way too obvious.

Yeah, I don't get how any of that makes sense, but I guess we have to wait until we get actual answers. I suppose that since Chaldeas can predict the future, Marisbury knew everything would go just as planned.

Regarding Olga Marie, I'm sure she'll be summonable eventually, but whatever they're going to be doing to her remains is just going to cause more suffering for the crew (mostly Mash, really).

If I had to rank the Lostbelts, it'd be: 6 > 5 > 1 > 7> 3 > 4 > 2.

Shiki vs ORT/Tepeu: Tepeu did fight him, the deinos took down a health bar, but Shiki is going to be ineffective as hell vs ORT because this one had less hostility, Tepeu has better specs as a deino, and well, Bennienma Alter had to apply a mod version of Azrael to be affected by death. That should be conclusive about the "debate." Shiki gets crystallized and dies in a blink.

OLGA: Nasu's obsessed with Olga, so he makes every character glaze her, even for the smallest things. He thought that would make her popular (her absence of any popularity survey result, even with the amount of shilling she got that year makes his successs.... highly debatable).

CAMAZOTZ: Camazotz already solo'ed a harder ORT. He would have trivialized the boss battle at the end if Guda summoned him. Nasu had to take him out by his own willing suicide to make ORT threatening.

DAYBIT: How? Archetype Earth can't observe him. He can't die for good, so he'll be back for the plot (hasn't yet because he's crashing on Tez's place while we try to beat a filler arc). He can get a stellar class-heart implanted in him and he tolerates that strain without an issue. He can deduce things in a prophetic way (while Chaldea needed to be spoonfed by him). Guda only survives because of the items he gave them. Furthermore, he is powerful in the way he's a mirror that can one-up whatever reflects. But this means that he needs to be directly attacked to work. He is exceptionally strong, he has weakness to countermeasure that, which affect his social skills. Also he is the reason why Marisbury could go this far: he supplied him, in his attempt to do good, the model of the universe.
Remember that N. Chaldea's objective was stop Daybit from awaking ORT and they failed, both teams. He beated everyone and awoke ORT. In a direct confrontation against him (that's not a Master duel), Daybit won. He's a little ridiculous.

CHALDEAS: I've made theorist posts for years the "Foreign Planet" was Chaldeas and what happened is that the textures gor switched. That David Bluebook was a citizen from Chaldeas future, 2117 (JP time). So seeing all that validated felt good.
"Foreign God" is a system to administrate the planet Chaldeas, yes. All that alien presi talk is just Olga being a dumb for "moe" points I guess, or her way to cope with the torture.

Not quoted,but from your other post. Marisbursy didn't predict everything. He didn't predict the incineration (it's in the Ophelia flashback, that was unforeseen and would delaytheir schedule). By this implication, he had hypothetically other Singularities created for some purpose we don't know yet if Goetia had not gotten the upperhand. We know they had nothing to do with Goetia's because Team A were practicing every day and Goetia's were new in Kirschtaria's flasbacks. Plus Lev's actions threw a wrench to Goetia's and Marisbury's. Sending Olga to Chaldeas was a positive development.
