interesting to note that Sugou's hair turned white from post traumatic shock, and where the heck did Kirito's wound from his fight go? would have been more dramatic if we see him limping to Asuna's room holding his bleeding arm and some tears of joy in seeing her. GGO next in 2014 >.>
Loved this episode since it went how you expected even the cafeteria scene between Liz and Scilica

Well, the final episode of SAO was definitely spectacular, and the flashbacks towards the darker times where Sugou goes crazy on Asuna was actually well handled (makes me wonder, again, what the hell went wrong with the previous 2 episodes), and suppose that I haven't seen the previous episodes I would even be tempted to take a peek. All in all, Kirito's nearly giving in to the impulse of murder scene was really well done, and while I still find Aincard's epic shadow appearance -> CHRISTMAS TREE! was kinda awkward, but oh well.

I have to say that was a good way to wrap up things. Just a whole episode looking at aftermath and how everyone is going to move on ahead. Even got to see Silica again who was in danger of only appearing in a single episode .
Man Sugou apparently wanted to see how many crimes he could pick up along the way. At least with his kidnapping and torture he should be away for about forever and can toss in attempted murder for the heck of it. I mean it wasn't going to be a great showdown between someone still recovering from rehab against someone screwed up from going through the pain of dismemberment in the game. I'm a bit surprised about the SAO castle coming back. I mean could get behind playing those games since they weren't the problem (it was people like Kayaba and Sugou), but still playing through that world again? You'd think the trauma might be a bit tough for some to actually go and do it. Kind of annoying that it appears Kayaba managed to gain himself virtual immortality. He gets to evolve to pretty much a virtual god while Sugou actually has to pay for his crimes. Personally I'd throw them both in jail... But anyways a good last episode. The virtual worlds will continue to exist and that's just fine. Glad they touched on Suguha's situation, though it feels like it will remain something rather complicated for the time being.
