So basically unless we start a kickstarter to fund money directly into the authors bank account we must constantly live in fear of an abandoned project.

Can we stop trying to guess where the plot will stop/reach using details rather than mere chapter numbers? This isn't the manga thread.

I thought all this was based around the fear that they will not adapt all the chapters due to lack of funds / lack of sales / lost interest. Or am i the only one who has given up on the "another season" hype after too many authors stopped on the first season?

Honestly I think the fear that we're never going to get another season isn't really warranted at this point. When the first season was airing I hoped we'd get another one, but I hardly expected it. Certainly didn't see them dropping that bomb that 2wei was coming. But it did and we got it animated in full. Until we reach the last episode of 3rei and don't see an announcement for 3rei "whatever" I'll just believe we're going to get there.

There's no telling whether something will or won't get a sequel, that's up to factors out of our hands. I think it's best just to enjoy the episodes we're getting and hope for the best. I don't think they came this far and will hit over 40 episodes of Illya to stop now.

Getting to the best stuff now, will be fun to see these chapters animated.

I can't imagine they'd animate this far into the series and suddenly abandon it unless this animated series somehow manages to explosively flop. Considering this series is going to be more "fate stay night" then the prisma illya we've known in the past, I don't see this one doing too poorly considering the audience.

So with the episode airing, anyone notice how Shirou lost the cutesy style he had in the both the first season and Zwei? That's kind of important, given what's to come in Drei.

They replaced the character designer and its not just Shirou who changed designs. There are comparison for both Chloe and Illya few pages back in this thread.

They more or less match what the character designs have evolved to in the manga, rather than what they were at the start of the series. More slender, smaller eyes, less obviously loli. Sometimes it's hard to remember, looking at the current manga designs, that these girls are all 11 years old, while it was quite easy to believe at the outset that they were 10.

Thats old promo.

Silverlink has yet to fail beyond a single episode. I trust in them far more than I do with UFO after UBW mess. Silverlink did brilliant job so far both adapting and enhancing the manga and as long as production is not a mess this will be glorious.

Sorry about that . ANN used this video to announce that the movie will be released this summer , and this video was included so i believed it was a new pv . My bad.
About the adaptation , i don`t agree with you . Unlike UBW , the 3rd season of Ilyia , in anime was pretty bad animated . Especially one of the mos awaited battle of this series

So full title for movie was revealed as

(Gekijouban Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya: Yukishita no Chikai)
Which could be translated as "Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma☆Illya The Movie: Oath Under The Snow".
Which is literally same title as that from chapter 35.
So now is clearly sure that movie will contain flashback arc.
