Well I just re-appeared in the anime scene because I had to stall everything for college. I caught up... and well, I really enjoyed everything.

Best scene? Eru catching Oreki having seen her pictures. I swear I laughed like hell at that.

In two words, fun episode.

Mayaka is certainly one big manga fan.I'm pretty sure my physical book collection alone is bigger than that though

On the debate, I'm leaning a bit on Mayaka's side. A masterpiece is born that way. There are anime that I don't like but can agree that it's a masterpiece. I consider "masterpiece" a personal thing though. On the other hand, what stood the test of time (Classic, as Kinematics put it) is objective.

I think the mixed bath comment was to show that Eru is an old-school. From what I heard, a mixed hot spring is considered "normal" until the western culture started coming into Japan. On the other hand, looking at the photo means Houtarou interests in her.

I do wonder if Satoshi losing that quiz will actually play into things later. At least maybe lining up with his comment to Houtarou that he is a man of no talents. He's a good database but not the best database out there.
