There are so many characters in this series that I sometime tend to forget how they look since many of them has only a few illustrations in the novels. Anime is going to be a great help.

Couldn't be more rote isekai fantasy (aside from the MC coming in from another fantasy world), but so far it's at least inoffensive and competently done. Gets one more episode.

Satoshi Hino and Rie Kugimiya in a JC Staff show? Where have I seen that before ?

Banaza is just your average merchant in an average fantasy world, but unlike many of his fellow merchants he actually treats Demihumans fairly and would like a world where that was the norm...and he unwillingly gets his wish when he gets transported to ANOTHER fantasy world. The only downside is getting separated from his cute Ikumi Hasegawa-voiced co-worker Quinn .

Of course while there's more racial equality in this world, it's still not fair to Banaza, as he gets summoned as a Hero and quickly dismissed compared to the OTHER guy they summon because he seemingly has no impressive stats or skills...so everyone just ignores him and the kingdom sends him out to a forest base for the Dark Lord so they can get him killed off. Really classy .

Though even if he's off to a bard start, Banaza has his optimism, merchant charm, and resourcefulness to get him through! And he even manages to kill some slimes with a cheap sword and start leveling up! And that's not the half of it when he manages to purify an entire forest and it seems like he has Holy Magic and near infinite capability !

The princess (Ayako Kawasumi?) actually seems nice, especially being ashamed of Banaza's treatment...though I imagine the king will really be changing his tune when he realizes they lost out on Banaza's power .

I love how Banaza decides to shapeshift to avoid attention...and couldn't resist transforming into a woman, complete with giant boobs and a tight butt he couldn't help but admire. Kind of wish we got more of him as a sexy lady .

A Rie Kugimiya loli? This really is Satoshi Hino/Rie Kugimiya show !

Banaza thought it was normal for people to teleport (too bad he can't teleport home) but it marks him out as being such a strange figure that he immediately gets accosted by a group of female adventurers (and classic archetypes) who are suspicious of him. Though what they really should have been suspicious of is the cute loli girl who turns out to be a giant demon wolf named Fenrys hunting for food! Can Banaza handle her (and win her over as all Satoshi Hino characters do with Rie Kugimiya characters) ?

The ED is pretty cute with Dialogue+ and the female adventurer party having misadventures...it seems downhill for them for anything that doesn't involve Banaza and the white-haired girl (Fenrys in a adult human body) .

I always tend to forget that Flio started the series with a different name and body. And sometimes I wonder if him not being Japanese was only so he couldn't understand what the infinity symbol in his stats meant. The lesson to learn is: when you summon an hero from a different world, try to level up him at least a bit before banishing him, just in case.
The funniest part was Hero Gold-Hair trying to hijack the series in the preview for the next episode.
