I wish there were more re-summoning and after-returning-from isekai stories around. There aren't many compared to the percentage of standard isekai summoned story types.
And nearly all of the after-returning-from isekai stories have either too little power usage or too much. If it's too little, what's the point of having the power in the story because it's almost a slice-of-life story. If it's too much power usage then it's just a fantasy over-powered character story taking place on Earth. First episode seemed okay, but I don't think I will be watching this for very long. I'm betting and hoping that this "Touma" was also reincarnated during that battle. Would make an interesting twist that one of the other people in the "summoned" class was actually the big bad and the one that cast the "summons". Which would also mean that his curse can work even across dimensions. For that matter, the Japanese name itself makes me think he was probably a summon in the original round.
Honestly, the moment I heard Elka squeal I kind of knew that she knew Setsu and had a bit of that side in her, but I seriously never once imagined that she'd be that far gone. |

Anyway the double isekai premise seems kind of interesting but everything else was kinda generic. Not sure I'll stick with this one. |

I was wondering why nobody recognized him since he apparently was a legendary hero, but turned out he reincarnated into a different body. Now I'm curious about the ages of the isekai characters, they are now older than the protagonist since 5 years passed between his two summoning or they were extremely young the first time?
So far the series seems good enough, we'll see if it stays that way.

Can't say that trading the childhood friend and the masochist knight for the loli merchant was worth it...I do wonder if the next girls are going to stick around longer or this show will follow an heroine of the week format.

It annoys me when they use the tired "you won today but I'll be back!" kind of trope. It'd be great if the dude said "I must prioritize reporting to my master" and MC would be like "yea... no" and slice the guy in half
Irritating how they have a hero with a big ass sword fighting an enemy and he chooses to kick them most of the time. Why carry the oversized knife if you aren't going to use it? At least the harem seems reasonably attractive, though they generally look better in the manga IMO. |
