Illegals was fun. Love Gentleman's imagination... That is EXACTLY how i would imagine stopping a criminal, and that is exactly how it would play out in reality. Talk about relateable. Frankly, i'm interested to see more of the world from their view. A bit more on seeing the kind of impact quirk's have on everyday people. So far it feels like the restricted use of quirk's in public might feel a bit too draconian. I feel like that might be a focus in the series, as that's something i felt from the first chapter... like you got a society that's filled with super powered people who are get pent up from not being able to use their powers.

Though one issue i would have with vigilante's in this world is that they should be pretty easy for authorities to identify. Quirk's come in a very wide variety and seem to be registered so narrowing down suspects would be very easy; after that you just need to find one that fits the basic description of the hero.

kinda painful that is bi monthly. I could handle monthly rleases but bi-monthly is gonna be a painful wait between chapters

Well that is kinda of the point. He's a hero who could never really make it as a pro-hero. Heck i'm actually expecting Duster to have a pretty useless quirk which is why he just beats thugs with brass knuckles

I really enjoyed this spin off, am I the only one who thinks Deku should've been more like the MC of this one? His personality is more relatable imo, I still love Deku though.

Deku probably would be him if he was quirkless, no...probably worst pessimist.
But i feel both MC and Deku already the best with their own characters.

the deciding moment was with the slime-monster, this MC would have looked around like everyone else without doing such a stupid and dangerous thing as to jump into a hostage situation, and AM wouldnt find him at all

^the spoilers sound great, and i actually would like to get more of this stuff,

the difference between ordinary people playing hero and actual trained people working as a hero seems to be hugh

and i already thought about it, but getting confirmed that the MCs quirk works on walls too is a nice feeling (as if i saw the future), anyway, his power may not be a offensive or even defensive one but i must admit that it is a pretty neat ability,

if i had that i would train such a ability into one where i can reach 100+ km/h, i would probably use it and travel all over the world

every 2 weeks we will get a chapter, that is great, i already thought that the adventure with the drug was over way to fast

adding a big plot to this untrained team of wanna-be heroes is a really cool idea, exspecially the quirk of the MC, i cant stop myself from thinking about how useful his ability would be in my daily life

i wouldnt need a car at all once i trained enough for 100+ speed

in fact, if MC would train his body and quirk more, he could become a really useful rescue-hero, he can easily climb walls in high-speed and bring people down (for example, if a tall building is burning, the MC could be at least bring a few kids or a adult down to safety on his own

or if there is a emergency and the injured person needs to be brought to the hospital as fast as possible, nothing could stop him from high-speed movement even while going over entire buildings

)

the other ones power seems to be interesting too, even if she cant fly, what stops her from taking foot-sized plates of wood alongside her? once she doesnt have a surface she could simply take one of them and use it

anyway, this drug-idea is really interesting, i wish it would happen in the main story too (i want to see a few real one vs ones with "getting killed" as a possible option

)

Just imagine how Koichi will leg swipe everyone in street lol, a lot villains will curses him for that.

it is finally out woooo!!!

nice chapter and it seems the drug issue will be the major plotline throughout the first arc

in any case, the MC got 3 hero names now: Gente-Man, The Crawler and The Hauler

the old man is also bad news, he knows how to handle the different type of quirks, that + the inexperience of the newly powered up villian made it easy to win

we also got new news about the MCs quirk

his quirk isnt limited to only bike-speed,
he could go a lot faster but he must limit himself because of injuries, he doesnt have a brake afterall

but the more i see of this quirk the more i think it could become a really useful one,
rescue-operations would be possible even on flaming skyscrapers,
and in close range fights the user would need to train his body into agile movements with strong hits, and since "only" 3 points are needed to activate this quirk it shouldnt be impossible to only use ones legs for it,

actually, in a healthy persons foot soles there can also 3 points be created, it would be hard to keep ones balance but with training and experience it should be possible to make this unflashy support-type quirk into a really hard-to-deal weapon

Yes, i like this chapter. There is a day and night difference between boku no hero and vigilante. while boku no hero is heavily presented X-men mutant academy storytelling form, Vigilante presented the classical superheroes story.
and here the detective and his cat wATSON also made his appearance here, he mentioned "improptu villain" is that organization name or villain cllassification?
I am lol'ed for Wolverine and Cyclops parody they somehow remind me for Bulk and Skulk from power ranger moprhin, i don't mind to see those two again......i kinda hope here Kouhei will turn notWolverine and notCyclops become recurring jokes character in boku no hero series like Bulk and Skulk in power ranger they recurred, appears in Power ranger franchise being irrellevant to plot but as cameo jokes.

We see our vigilante team coming together, but when you compare them to the heroes you can kind of see the difference. They are kind of a mess when it comes to hero work. Knuckle Duster is content with beating up anyone who looks suspicious. Pop step seems like she might have a bit smarter than the other two, but she still flubbed up during the big fight; Koichi went to save her after she fell and she ended up using him as spring board so she could fly; she was saved by ended up allowing him to take the fall instead (though she did seem to realize how she screwed up). This kind of makes things interesting... on the one hand you could say our viglante's ended up doing good, but at the same time, their sloppy performance shows the value of the pro-heroes. What's great is that it shows the difference that years of training and study makes. We also got some additional info on the Quirks. Pop Step's quirk is not really flight, seems like its more like floaty jumping; she needs to kick off of a surface in order to use it. And it turns out Koichi's quirk does include sliding up walls. As for old man knuckle, it turns out he's actually quirkless Granted not sure if this will be the end of the drug storyline, or if they plan to continue it... they did manage to stop the dealer, but the author could keep this story going if he wants. LevelSeven Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Germany	ch3 raw Spoiler for wowwy: seems like the MC got a lot more guts, he is openly going into fights between a cyclops and wolverine double (and im not joking, they ARE cyclops and wolverine but thousand times less powerful XD) anyway, the drug still exists and we see midoriyas shadow and some hero flying around behind him, i first thought it was AM but AM cant fly and he doesnt have a cape...i think, in any case, the quirkless old man shows again: you dont need superpowers in order to be a low-lvl superhero, i wish this story was also coming out weekly, would be SO AWESOME! PS: the detective we saw in the original story also appears in this one, seems like he is assigned with the quirk-enhancing drug
