he will destroy her hands down. during ep 9 at the air port he brushed her off without even breaking a sweat and she had no idea what happend. the real problem for Hei will be the transformer contractor. cant wait for these fights.

I mean, Nika being eaten by Tanya's bugs were pretty disturbing... Youko's death was, too, wasn't it? Hei drinking and hitting girls isn't exactly Shounen material either

this never occurred to me either but when i think about it Hei does get drunk abuses Suou alot.

Perhaps I've been getting used to violence in shows or something, just like wandering-dreamer. XD

I don't think I saw anything that was even remotely disturbing, and the fight scenes weren't gruesome (perhaps near the end). Then again, I tend to read manga of the horror/psychological genre and come out unfazed, so maybe it's just me?

hei is so awesome when he is the black reaper! people fear him even before he turn into a contractor. Season1 was great but gaiden was awesome

darker than black was never for kids. the plot is too dark and complicated i think. probably one of the reasons why i like it so much. i love hei. definitely one of my favorite anime/manga characters to date.

I wouldn't say the plot is specifically dark and complex, but Hei certainly is a very appreciable character. One of my favorite things about him (my friends think the same thing as well) is that he has a perfect poker face. Despite his supposed lack of feeling throughout the series (except for some particular moments) he can perfectly emulate human emotion.

You mean Mina? I'm pretty sure Mina was about to kill him then her boss or whatever comes in and says that it was Genma who killed Youko. So she won as far as Regular Hei vs Her goes, but I do believe Contractor Hei will kill her.
