Story Synopsis:

That was a pretty decent albeit flawed start. Kamito isn't too bad of a lead though when you look at what he's reacting to Claire, that's not a good sign. I don't know about his seiyuu (I heard he voiced Banri Tada from Golden Time) but his voice reminds me of Daisuke Ono a lot. Claire was just your typical abusive tsundere with a sweet side and I don't like her attitude very much, though it's nice to see Ibuki Kido using her Nanami's voice to go along with her personality. The setting reminds me of Negima! and Infinite Stratos, it had a male lead living in an all-girls magic school though his arrival is more reminiscient of the former due to the female students being scared of him because of his opposite gender rather than sexually praising him like he's so nice. The cast is full of stereotypical cute girls with generic traits, the only ones that are actually good are Kamito and Rinslet (Cecilia lookalike), the rest wasn't unique at all. The animation is painfully average at best and the music sounded forgettable and yet I actually liked the opening theme by Hitomi Harada. Being animated by TNK with Tetsuya Yanagisawa in charge, it looks like they are aiming to make a non-nude series packed with battle fantasy theme, I hoped they'll keep it, since the studio does not produce many series in the non-nude department before.

Well, I'm sad that this show won't bear any nipples... But hey, I've decided to watch it anyway!

So it seems that Claire Rouge is your typical Shana clone while Kamito Kazehaya has bits of aggressiveness for a main harem lead!

Still, he's in the same boat as Issei, being perverts and all except Kamito got a bad reputation from the start.

Good first episode. I'm satisfied with how they adapted the LN. There were some bit of changes and bit of rush but that's expected of 12 episode show. Animation and Art style are as good as Highschool DxD. I take back what I said before about the animation being bad. My eyes were probably not so clear watching the animated pv.

I have to say, Claire is cute and likable compared to my impressions of her in the LN. There's a lot of leg shots and small pantsu showing. Restia showing at the end was a tease. And hearing here voice reminded me of Rias because of the same VA they have.

Oh yes, glad to see Ellis, Rinslet, and her maid as well.

Looking forward for more.

Before I only planned to watch this solely for Restia, but the premier was unexpectly good! It's been awhile since I last read the novel but I have the feeling the anime managed to top the novel in this opening arc, a bit rushed at times but that was totally fine by me.

The background music was also very well done. It has that typical RPG feel to it, which suits the story perfectly. The OP is on the meh side, though.

hmmm fast paced with lack of explanation. Pretty average adaptation. Good visuals but shaky animation with some parts have crappy scene.

Without knowledge of the original material. This is bad because I don't understand much what's happening without those knowledge.

I wonder on how fast they will do this. Watching the OP scenes only shows clues of up to vol 2 but I hope it will at least be up to vol 3.
