Both Aizawa and Kouta are worried about Deku. He may still be able to move around now thanks to the endorphin he released in his body, but that won't last. Right now, the boy is telling Mandalay to warn everyone via telepathy that Bakugou is the prime target of the villains. As the ground shakes, the villain called Magne thinks of two villains of causing a quake like that, one of them being the muscle villain from before. He's surprised that the muscle villain lost, and prepares to attack Deku himself, but gets stopped by Spinner. The scaly villain reminds him that Deku was recognized by Stain, but Magne kicks him away, anyway. In the meantime, Mandalay relays the message about Bakugou to everyone.


Speaking of Bakugou, he and Todoroki are still facing the bondage villain, who turns out to be a death row inmate called "Moon Fish". Moon fish grows blades from his head that pierce through Todoroki's ice, showing how skilled he is. Bakugou holds back from using his own quirk due to the poisonous gas, and igniting the trees around them. Meanwhile, the Class B duo of Tetsutetsu and Kendou search for the villain who's releasing the gas. After a short conversation between the two, they finally encounter the gas villain. However, the villain, sensing people approaching him, takes out a gun and fires....

Deku, during his search for Bakugou, hears the gunshot. But before he can do anything else, a huge, shadowy hand attacks him! He ends up getting saved by Shouji, who sacrificed one of his tentacles! He tells Deku that the shadow that attacked was from Tokoyami, whom he had protected from an enemy ambush. However.... Shouji's act of heroism was the impetus for Tokoyami's shadow to go berserk. Now, they must find a way to deal with the shadow if they want to leave the area. Tokoyami himself, unable to control his quirk, warns his friends to run away, or else they'll die....!!!

Tokoyami's quirk in nighttime is absolutely terrifying, if he could control that he could become the opposite of Escanor from seven deadly sins, in that his power is really strong in the night and it's not himself the darkness is powering

kacchan and todo seem to be in a hell of a disadvantage agaisnt the villian, i wonder if someon with moonfishs quirck needs to go to a dentist i would like to have this power if i could get this side-ability XD

and not only are the villians causing problems there is also now a raging tokoyami, i really hope at least one villian (the big glasses dude) gets wrecked with a few uncontrolled berserk hits
btw, does this mean that tokoyami is always in such a big pain if night comes? that is somehow sad

Tokoyami runs from Deku and Shouji. Meanwhile, we find out that Tetsutetsu and the gas villain destroyed each others' gas masks. The gas villain is then forced to retreat, as even he's vulnerable to his own lethal gases.


Meanwhile, it seems that Tokoyami's crazed shadow has found a new target: The villain, Moonfish! Deku tells Shouji about the weakness behind the shadow man's quirk, and comes up with the idea of leading him towards Bakugou. He has a theory that the light emitted from bomb-boy's explosions will help Tokoyami regain control over his power....

i would have liked to see kacchan and todo fighting together but they dont have the one of the most powerful quircks of all times so it is understandable that they dont have a chance against a trained pro :/

Well, Korean scans came out:

The earlier summary is slightly inaccurate.... the chapter mainly focuses on the battle with the gas villain. Tetsutetsu has trouble reaching him since he keeps getting shot, though his metal skin prevents him from receiving any major damage. However, his mask was destroyed by the villain, and he's also forced to protect Kendou when the villain aims for her. When things look bad for our metapod bro, Kendou uses her quirk to wave away some of the gas as well as distract the villain, allowing Tetsu the opportunity to land one critical strike on the gas man, knocking him out!


As for the rest, it's mostly the same as mentioned earlier, though it seems that it was Moonfish who cut Shouji's tentacle earlier. Otherwise, things proceed as was already told, with the Deku/Shouji team leading Tokoyami towards Bakugou's location. The crazed shadow then crushes Moonfish, and the two injured heroes reveal their plan to utilize Bakugou and Todoroki's quirks to save Tokoyami....


So in the end, it's the Class B kids who get the spotlight this chapter! Pretty dang cool, if I do say so myself!

AWESOME metal-guy and gaint-hand, they really get better and better, to be honest, i want copy-kid and mind-control-boy to fight too, how easy could they overhelm a enemy? think about it,
villian shows up, copy boy takes some injuries but manages to touch him and directly has the same quirck, than a battle with 2 equally powerful quirck-users begins unless copy-boy takes more quircks
and mind-kid could ask him if he spares them, villian will of course answer with something villian-like, bump, finished battle XD

and now i hope there will be finally a serious-serious fighting for kacchan, until now all the real fights he was involved got skipped only the mock-battles are shown :/

Spoiler summary is out, though apparently this isn't 100% confirmed yet. But what the heck, here it is:

While Tokoyami's shadow did indeed take down Moonfish, it didn't kill him. Both Todoroki and Bakugou then take the opportunity to use their quirks to calm down the shadow. Meanwhile, Deku wants to take Bakugou back to the facility, but the main path is blocked by the fight between the Pussycats and their respective villains. As taking the long way back would take too much time, it's decided that Deku will take a shortcut with a group of escorts. Namely, Shouji is on lookout, while both Todoroki and Tokoyami protect Bakugou.


We then get a brief flashback, focusing on Tsuyu/Ochako vs. Toga. At first, they tried to avoid fighting her, but after getting Aizawa's permission to engage the enemies, they go on the offensive. At first, Tsuyu has trouble against the villain, but Ochako backs her up, using CQC techniques she learned from Battle Hero Gunhead. Back to the escort team, a magician villain suddenly appears before them, but at the same time..... Bakugou vanishes. The magician tells the group that he magicked the boy away, saying that the heroes don't deserve someone like him. Thus, he'll prepare a better stage for the explosive one. Naturally, Deku merely demands that the villain return his childhood friend...!!!


Well, if these spoilers are legit, then I guess this chapter pretty much validates those arguments from earlier in the thread about how Bakugou would be more fitting as a villain.... seeing as he's even being recruited by force and all!

^that or they want to use kacchan as some sort of unwilling subordinate, only because the heroes "dont deserve him" (lol) doesnt mean the villians will take him as their equal i would like to see either of this happening:

1. AFO wants kacchan to become the next AFO user, but stuff happens and kacchan is not willing to get some cheap power up (saying that he wants to become #1 with his own strength), than two things happen:
1) AFO tells how deku suddenly got a quirck and in order to become the #1 he MUST take the power that is even above OFA,
2) forces kacchan to swallow his hair and creates a connection, saying to his underlings that if AFO awakens kacchan will slowly become more and more corrupted so they can let him go until he "ripens enough"

2. AFO wants to create a ultimate nemu and saw in kacchan a perfect vessel which wont become some kind of brainless monster, experimenting on kacchan and making him into a BNHA-version of the x-men-wolverine-version-deadpool but since he has still his mind he flees..

in either way: i want kacchan to get back to the heroes, than sh*t happens that makes him into a villian with understandable reason (at best would be a anti-hero, fighting crime but so brutal that the villians are more or less bound to the bed for years)

Bakugou join the villain group is very cliche but this not mean Todoroki or Iida join villain side not cliches either.
