Because of his super denseness he couldn't decipher her slur when she said it. Ichika can be used as a benchmark or a unit of measurement for denseness. Some one needs to make an "Ichika meter" for use when comparing MCs.

But on topic...again sort of... I really think the whole Tsundere issue needs cleared.

First, Tsundere only refers to the emotional standing and capabilities of someone. To try and compare all of the tsundere female characters is a bit much.

Second, the biggest misconception is that tsundere=S. That is incorrect. The problem here comes from the majority of tsundere characters personalities being built from being over pampered or even noble/aristocratic upbringing. Thus the reason they look down on most everyone. Their selfishness or greed is what turns them into an S. Again the misconception is present because the tsundere personality also comes from the same type of upbringing.
Summing it up, not all tsunderes are S's. It just turns out most S's are tsunderes.

IMO

First the position for most DENSE is KING Natsuru Senou from Kampfer.

I agree with you on this.

Ichika is dense because the girls are in love with him and he doesnt realize it. Natsuru is dense cuz he's so in love with the moderator chick he doesnt look at other girls. Natsuru is like harima from School Rumble Eri was in love with him bad and his affections for tenma made him braindead

And yeah Natsuru isnt Dense.. he's just blind because he only saw Sakura.

Ichika on the other hand IS DENSE more then a block of lead.
And this is with charlotte + Laura trying to make moves on him.

So u cant say the girls arent doing anything.

The only person who comes close to Ichika, is probably Shioon from The Breaker.
Now that DUDE is also DENSE as hell as well.

I think the better way to educate tsundere girls is to lock them up for life. Maybe not getting pampered too much will prevent them from being arrogant bitch. Since all tsundere are kind of dangerous to be released near people anyway.

I'm not too sure, trolling the academy? lol, but are there other incidents because the incidents in vol 2 are not Restia setting up an opponent for Kamito.

Restia-tachi seem to be preparing something else in addition to the fact that they need Kamito to regain his strength.

lets see what he faces in the daily life:
claire - fire scorching + tsundere
est - innocent troll + poker face
ellis - wind blasting + tsundere
fianna - seduction
rinslet - ice damage/frost damage + tsundere
rinslet's maid (forgot her name) - attachment + guy's conversion into a rage magnet when she clings to him
leonora - well she DID attempt to make him jump her, but still unsure if developed feelings or will appear in later volumes
restia - plastic face + potential cockblocker and girlblocker
crazy yandere-like imouto colleague - who knows? she COULD sneak in his quarters and perform a midnight snack.

my god... he has a LOT to deal with....
