So awhile back I was watching a newly released movie at a Regal Cinemas movie theatre. The previews came around, and a trailer for some beautiful anime showed up. I only caught glimpses, because my friend was talking to me, so I never got the name. It revolved around mecha of some sort, one of which vaguely reminded me of Nirvash from Eureka Seven. Do note that I was watching an American movie when this Japanese advertisement for the anime came on. That may help one of you identify it, as one of you may have seen the same preview.

Any help is appreciated.

Well, from what I can get out of the image the guy's name is Koichi. Or starts with a Koi- ('cause for whatever reason they sometimes put -chi at the end of various names) and something about factors and particles ('powers' is far too vague to look up).

I need help finding this anime from more than 10 years ago (around 98-00 methinks)
I saw it on Cartoon network.
It's a mecha series. (It had robots alright!)
The main character and his friend (3 friends irrc, but it can be wrong) were fighting against enemy's robots. (It had some scene in the outer space, and i think those enemy's robots are all in red)
The 3 friends each piloted some sort of giant robots (like gundam maybe, i don't watch much gundam).
But the mainchar didn't. Instead i think he had some kind of suited armor (more like the Iron man kind of thing). And he can activated it anytime and anywhere.

That's all i can remember. Thanks you for helping.
