Nasu once said that there can be only one Chokuchi no Magan user in one world. That means if Ryougi Shiki have them, Tohno Shiki doesn't.

Also, it seems that in Kara no Kyoukai universe lacks the knowledge of True Ancestors.

Then what about Roa?He existed in the same time as Shiki(Nanaya) and he can also see death of the living things although his ability's not advance as Shiki.

No, his ability is completely in a different league. Roa's ability is to see the lines of "life". Hence when you damage these, you are draining/destroying directly the life force of the target, it doesn't affect anything the "programmed death" of the target. This is the sole purpose, hence no "evolution" possible which means it cannot be the same as the chokuchi no magan.
That is the reason why Shiki declared that he will show him the true eyes.

Though I might have mixed the "name" due to obvious reasons, I was certain that it was Roa's considering the insane amount of loop he did, and the fact that the "entity" used this ability only in near side of the moon routes while, in in far side:

Real Tohno SHIKI was demonstrated as being a very diehard character, because of his "immortality" skill that allows him to live even if several of his limbs were severed.
The other ability I can think of for him is to solidify his blood to create solid sharp objects, like blood sword and such (which is very thorougly shown in Akiha's route).

I can't exactly see the reason why SHIKI would have that instead of Roa, but well... might be mixed up because of the pain identity issue.

I can't help but notice that the animated GIFs and screenshots in this thread tend to be at the wrong aspect ratio.

Be sure to be using the proper mkv splitter (http://haali.cs.msu.ru/mkv/) and a player that can automatically correct it (e.g., Zoomplayer, Media Player Classic Home Cinema with the internal mkv filter turned off).
