Meh, Code Breaker was pretty much what I expected. Typical Akimine-sensei shoddy writing. It's never Akimine without the over-used look-down cool look, ugly grunts, 'unique' but weak females and awkward fanservice.

I'll be frank though, this at least looks like it'll have more potential than Silvery Crow, which was really dumb. SDK's 2nd half was horrible, but even it had its redeeming points.

WSM's more forgiving than WSJ when it comes to less-than-favourable works. If SDK had been in WSJ, it would have been cancelled way before Bk 38.

While the story is ok, and I do like some of the things Ogami does(like with that random girl at the end of ch 6), it's Sakura's mean?/aggressive personality and naive idealology on 'evil' that keeps me reading this.
Spoiler for chap 14:

I've lost interest in this one after the first few chapters. So far, it's been giving away too little too slowly who/what the code breakers are...and my interest is wearing thin.

EDIT: Okay, seems, that there was a thread for this (interesting that it didn't show up on the Search function when I tried)

Anyways, don't know about the rest of the posters here, but I find it to be quite interesting, and a ride the whole way

So guise, there hasn't been much discussion here.

I rather like the direction this is going--it's a more secluded group, meaning I see them more friends than a bunch of SHOUNEN MANLY WARRIORS going out and kicking people's butts.

And as for our latest chapter...

Spoiler for latest chapter:

Is no one reading the manga?

I mean it is pretty brutal at start and gets entertaining after that so why? why is there hardly any people who read it?

Because no one in the manga is interesting character-wise other than Sakura. Honestly, I got tired of it after Ogami fought with the ice guy and Sakura ended up shrinking because she used her negation powers. I just couldn't take it anymore. I see it's still being translated, and I do have it in my "to read" pile, but I just don't have any motivation to start reading it again.

Really?! I love this manga! I had my doubts at first when I read the summary and saw the cover page, I thought it would be a dark/gloomy story (which I don't like) with an emo-cool-evil bishounen type (which I hate). But boy, was I wrong. All the main characters are weirdos (in a good, awesome way), the fights are good, their powers are not over-the top hax (well, not so far anyway), a little bit of romance... I can't ask for much more. I'm not saying it's a masterpiece but it is enjoyable. And code 05 is just !!!

No it was that dark and gloomy that I really enjoyed reading. It was all very heart braking to see what you can or can't do in a really hopeless situations. There is no hope , no friendship and no forgiveness. How can you live with it.

I was very interested but as manga went on it totally lost it roots and now is nothing more than lovey dovey shounen typical cliche story. Well that is the vibe at least.

But most shows loose their roots. just look at naruto. Lost it's awesome ninja going early on. Still I'm not saying it's not entertaining which it really is.

Just caught up to the latest scanned chapter[88]. Honestly, I can't say I liked Ogami's transition from 'emotionless badass' to a nicer, more sociable person, but after that transition, it wasn't all too bad. The whole "Him" arc was fast as hell though; maybe TOO fast, though I'm thankful that it didn't drag on like other shounen series. I also feel that some of the things that happened was simply absurd, like the whole president thing, or saving Sakura immediately after being captured, or the talking hand; though I do like being surprised by such moments.

I've come to like how things are now. Everyone being together makes things more fun somehow. I don't like Sakura as much as I used to though, I think I like Ruirui best =03, esp when she gets embarrassed. Plus her ass in her mermaid form is just a marvel to look at. Yeah, i said it

Really gotta ask this, guys. Is this manga getting any good in later chapters? I dropped this manga in chap 90 (due to overused shounen cliches) and intended to pick it up again now that the anime already ended sometime ago
