Other than that, good episode. Araragi breaking the chains was pretty epic.

What ? You seems to not understand that Koyomi like that. If it was not the case, he could easly, for example, free himslef from these chains. Just watch again, Bakemonogatari beautiful episode 12. You will undesrtand how much they love each other :3

Araragi could do a lot of things, sure. I think it has more to do with taking Araragis kindness for granted than anything. Araragi has far better dynamic with Kanbaru, then he does with Hitagi.

Episode twelve feels alien compared to the rest, if anything. Just because Hitagi had a one episode lapse of rationality, that doesn't do much to change my opinion of her. Araragi is capable of adapting to any situation, so he can play Hitagis game without getting burnt, but they're opposites by nature. The constant threats of killing whoever he cheats on her with...is not cute at all.

No I understand, but I just didn't see the need to question what I said, when I have been very clear about it. If he wants to strike up a real conversation rather than leaving one word snide comments for a post, I'm all for it.

Araragi and Kanbaru certainly do get along quite well, but I get the image of "best friends" more than "lovers" from them. For all their sexual teasing, they don't really seem that interested in each other. Or rather, Kanbaru can get away with that because she knows he's not interested (or finds it more awkward than anything else). Kanbaru serves the same kind of role in his life as a male friend.

Yea, that's fair. Not every female character he interacts with has to be a lover regardless of interest or attraction. Don't gotta want that from everyone you go with. Though that playing around goes too far. =D

Excellent episode again. And yeah Kanbaru is indeed awesome.lol. Episode seems to run by fast. The Hitagi/Koyomi conversations never get old to me. I think thats the biggest reason why I love about this series(tho the rest are great too). Whoa at the end tho, first time seeing Koyomi get serious
