VP Kumagawa...shocker. Oh well, looks like Shibuki and Gagamaru still look up to him. And I'm not sure if he's officially stepped down as head of Class -13. Here's hoping we see more of them, and their kind when the rest of Class -13 arrives.

I'm kind of up in the air about how this next arc will go.

Flask Plan: Medaka saves the student body and gets the full extent of her abnormality.
Class -13: Medaka settles an old score with the student she couldn't save.

Odds are they'll make this arc all about her, like they always do.
But hey, the only way to find out is to wait and see.

Its good that she apparently will be an antagonist like I thought she would despite some people thinking otherwise. I'm curious if she was born with that many abilities or if she absorbed them all before she met Kumagawa. Either way, seeing how she interacts with Medaka and Zenkichi should be fun.

The mental instability due to having all of those different abilities was only going to be expected. A lot of these characters are screwy enough with just one ability affecting I guess Medaka's "The End" would turn her into one of these "Not-equal" types after she absorbs enough abilities. I guess Miyakonojou would too actually.

I won't speak for anyone else who has shown they aren't his fanboy in recent posts, but I've said before that I don't actually hate or dislike him.

I just accept him for what he is and has mostly been portrayed as, which Westlo stated is "mediocre". I just find him and his presence boring. He has his role to play but I find the obsession over his character when he is mostly a side kick too intense in relation to the grand scheme of things. If he is almost always going to remain his boring self I see nothing wrong with me not wanting him to have excessive amounts of panel time when there several characters I consider better than him and would rather see.

to think of it is the first time (from what I remember) that the author leaves us with an uncertain relationship .

What I mean is .. when Akune appeared the relationship he had with Zen and medaka has been explained very well.
when Kumagawa appeard the same thing happened and we know his relationship during the middle school with them.(Although I still think that Zen and Kumagawa they know each other better than that .. I still can not get out of my head that phrase Kumagawa said during the fight against Mukea ... and was (more or less) perhaps we could talk again all three together after long time (Kumagawa, Zen and Ajimu).)
But as regards the relationship between Zen and Ajimu something always happens that prevents us to find out more. I mean every time they talk about Ajimu Zen is in a situation that can't hear or he hear so little information that only confuse him rather than help him remember about her.
I means the first time Zen encounters Ajimu and finally tries to ask her something she interrupts him.
When he returned to life and Kumagawa asks him how it feels to have see her again in a long time Zen confused asks *her?* Kumagawa himself says that dont matter if he do not remember.
During the fight again Mukea was his own mother to stop him to think about what kumagawa say ,telling him that he not needs to think about it for now
The author sure has pledged to leave the relationship between Zen and Ajimu more uncertain possible.
For this reason I am glad that she finally appeared, because that's way we would finally find the truth about this thing.

... surprising heartwarming. Akatsuki-sensei shows once again, that he is really, really good with the face-expressions. Now Kumagawa´s smile looks downright sincere! While I will miss the evil bastard, I can´t help to share this young boy, who finally has found a little luck in this cruel world. Especially good was in my opinion, how the audition (consisting out of Medaka`s enemies) also cheered him on and Gagamaru and Shikibu were still his friends after all.
And considering how Kujira was able to pull of some quite awesome feats after the Heel Face Turn, I don´t think, Nishio will let us down with this new Kumagawa, so for me, I´m okay with that ending.

Are you sure that Medaka can not remember Ajimu least from the information we have so far?
I thought that only Zen not remember her ,that's why we do not know what relationship he have with her.

AJIMU IS F**KING SCARY! Well, at least according to this spoiler here (on japanese): http://baresoku.com/jump/?p=853

Three other skills of her was revealed. "Alibiblock" ("proof of the crime"-guts?), which is the reason, why Zenkichi doesn´t recognize her, "Deadlock" ("Death-extending"-feet?) which makes her immortal (she implies to live since more than 200 years) and "Life Zero" ("objection"-shank?), which negates other skills... Despite all this skills, Ajimu admits she couldn´t defeat Medaka, because Medaka is the Main Character in this world of Shuukan Shounen Jump.

FFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU...

She knows about the fourth wall and I think she is looking at me and... AAAAARGGHHHH...

Did I also note, that she introduce herself to Zenkichi in a single monologue even Minus!Mukae would find creepy?

Still quite interesting, that each of her skills seem to be connected with one of her bodyparts. And goddamn, yeah, she is even more Genre Savy than Kumagawa...

Ajimu confirmed for God-tier and super villain-tier. I think Nishio may do as great a job on her as he did with Kumagawa if not better. Though I expected her to be an immortal, I didn't think she has been around as long as has been implied.

So Medaka and Zenkichi can't remember her because she doesn't want them to remember her huh? I wonder what was her reason for wiping their memories. That and if she knows that she can't defeat Medaka in this reality, just what does she intend on doing to one-up her? This implies that even if she negated "The End" Medaka would still come out on top somehow. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

Oh and if anyone STILL needed confirmation about who the main character is, well Ajimu just put the nail in the coffin lmao.
