I could listen to Ohara Sayaka for hours on end. Too bad she has such a small role in this production. I had hope when her character reappeared, but sadly it was just a brief moment.

The report on Lin said he was from Taiwan. Was that fictitious? Certainly the last episode made it appear he was living on the mainland when he gave himself to the child merchant.

I looked on a map and saw to my surprise that Fukuoka is not all that far from Shanghai and nearly as far south. Maybe it's my Mercator Projection sense of latitudes.

Everyone just seems to assume that Banba and Lin are a couple. Of course Lin is cleaning his apartment and had a full bathroom put in.

Seems that the ED changed up the next episode preview voice over by adding Fei's whistling.

And it's a funny moment to see Banba mock Sarucchi for his fail in submarine baseball tossing.

That info came from the LNs IIRC. Not sure where since I'm not that far in yet.

The Ninja won that fight, that cheap shot...well they needed Fei to meet Lin Anyway.

So Lin is not gay..or just Banba/demisexual?

Everybody love the trap and Fei-lan is full yandere here

loved how the comments were about the ending and what will be of the future.

Sayonara Homerun, pretty fitting.

Neither Banba nor Lin is gay. That's been pretty obvious from the outset.

Man, the banter between Banba and Sarucchi never seizes to get a chuckle from me.

Sarucchi and Nitta gets second place.

Man, Fei reminds me of Solomon in a way...

And the next episode fourth wall breaking. And Enokida wants his own spinoff show. XD

Lin may not be gay but he is definitely running on girlfriend logic as far as Banba is concerned.

I don't get the joke with Sarucchi demanding such a small share.

10/10 show, seriously anime of the season IMO, would absolutely love a second season

Also, Lin threatening Banba to not give him spicy pollock roe for a week if he loses, LMAO the guy is so Banba's wife

It sure was a fun ride

A bit predictable in the end but glad to see the conflict between Lin and Fei resolved. RIP Fei. I'm actually going to miss him considering he got me invested into his character from one of the earlier background story episodes.

As for the series as a whole, I thought it was so-so.

Yeah, that was an entertaining series. Had been off my radar, and took me a few episodes to get into but well worth giving it a fair try. Nice action, and good characters.

Would be nice to see more.

The translator IIRC is working on volume 3.

They are.

There’s Blu-Rays, but they’ll cost a bit. For now, I’m still reading the novels since some parts of the anime have some things omitted to keep the pace ar 12 episodes, which is wrong IMO.
