Had to read the lore for both Poppy and Galio to understand the picture but it made it all the more sweeter.

I don't get the one with Zed, though. Why Zed?

Because Zed insta-gibs squishy AD-AP carries before Caitlyn's ult would even hit. It's his job and why he's one of the most played and banned champs at high elo.

The European meta bans him the most. Korea, not really but they're willing to in tournies. North America...a bit, they're way more scared of Elise and Kha'Zix, mainly due to the fact they're aren't that many people who play Zed well compared to Europe and Korea.

There are other assassins that can burst squishies much faster than Zed so if that was the reference of that comic it's 'meh' to me.

She got through in one of the Frost v Blaze games. It destroyed. No one with a brain in their head will let Kayle through at that level for now. MR Shred, burst dmg, 4 sec slow and immunity ult. Not to mention its ability to harass the tops/mids people like playing most right from the beginning.

What I liked most about tonight's set of games was that it was shown that as crazy as Kha'Zix is, it can be contained.

Snoopeh streaming while drunk atm...wow...and I thought Chauster being a perma-whiny bitch that wouldn't teamfight properly tonight was bad...

Annie getting a visual upgrade.

He's banned because of the new resistance system, being a tank now is utter foolishness. It's better to get life than armor.

For example yesterday I fought against a talon with a jax, everything was good until team fight. I used ulti and got 22x armor, the talon dashed in and used ulti.
God, 673 damage, I got crazy, This morning when I saw they nerfed talon and kah zix, I was truly happy. Assassins like talon, kah, lee, kata are some crazy shit. One void rod or black cleaver and everything become cheese.

There's also the recent bft item, seeing eve, singed, teemo and amumu with it in dominion and turning everything into coffee drives me crazy.

Yeah, Warmog's is the go to mid-game tank item now, as I found out when I played Sejuani (it wasn't Sej is better in jungle this season... its just warmogs is so frigging good right now). Not only is it cheaper than its resistance counterparts (Randuin, Frozen Heart, Bulwark are all 3k+), but the best way to counter the health are %based damage.

And with the removal of Bloodrazor, and with Blade of the Ruined King + Liandry not seeing a lot of play, the only ones you truly fear are people like Kog and Vayne. And if you're against them, Warden's mail does wonders to keep yourself tanky after Warmogs, so its not as if you can't do anything about them.

But yeah, Warmogs rush has helped me win 7 in a row with Jarvan. I'm so glad I tuned in to last weekend's qualifiers, as now I finally found my replacement for Hecarim as my semi-carry/gank at lvl 3 jungler. ClakeyD really inspired me to try him out, and now I know why they almost permabanned J4 against him in all matches but the last game of the last match (where they had to ban Urgot instead).

IEM Katowice starts tonight.

The 8 teams in attendance: Gambit Gaming (formerly Moscow Five), MYM, Curse Gaming, Azubu Blaze, SK Gaming, FnaticRC, Absolute Legends, and Azubu Frost

That's a pretty good lineup. This will start about...3 hours after the 2nd round of the semi bo5 between Najin Sword and KT Rolster B does...I think? I believe that's how the time zone conversion works out.

Oh yes, I've been looking forward to this tournament. It's been some time since EU teams last played in a competitive environment so it will be interesting to see what the EU scene has up its sleeve now after preseason changes.
