You can solo most of it really with some proper thinking and a good enough demon. You certainly can't solo some of the higher-end dungeons though.

As with most MMO's, they like to promote a sense of community.
First bits are easy to solo. Heck, first dungeon on Home 3 was daunting at first, but with the right coordination between yourself and a demon you should be fine.
