That looks to be about the same size as the DS cart, right? With a little tab though. Which mixes well with the whole backwards compatible thing, with just the 3DS carts having more storage space. I can see why, too: 6 years ago Flash media like SD cards and CF cards weren't exactly cheap, or at high capacities to boot, with today's cheap manufacturing from Samsung and Toshiba I guess an increase to the DS's storage means Nintendo won't be taking losses in the cart production process. As for the case, does this match well with the whole "copy game to built-in storage" rumor? Seems like Nintendo is going expect you to carry your games around by including game cases to store some games |

"The Nintendo of America president declined to name a price for the system, but on the subject of battery life, he offered, "Has there ever been a Nintendo handheld without a good battery life?" Asked if that meant people could expect a comparable level of battery life as they get with their DSes, he said they could."

It has to be able to play MP3 and MP4 files for me to be completely convinced about buying the machine....
That, and kick ass Zelda/Action titles.... Oh wait a second: What if the next game in the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney series comes out on this machine in 3D... OH LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!

MP3/MP4 playback would be great too, as long as it supports the h264/avc codec thing. I don't want to reconvert everything again |

Here's I would like to see on the Nintendo 3DS! Instead of using that stupid-ass "3D" in the title, I will be more original. Sometimes, I will use the Original Title.

Hmm, if its got more memory than a UMD, I would also like to see THESE games (Also on PSP) on the 3DS.
Air Kanon Clannad Little Busters Dungeons and Dragons Tactics Suzumiya Haruhi's Promise To Heart Tokimeki Memorial And these old gems (call the Senior Citizen's Home!! Gordy's on the loose!!) Mortal Kombat 2. Donkey Kong Country 2 Icewind Dale 1 & 2 Killer Instinct 1 Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes Metal Gears Solid 2 Sons of Liberty (WITH Harry Gregson Williams ORIGINAL Awesome Score) Planescape Torment (the 1.8GB of the ENTIRE original game WILL fit on this 2GB chip) Warcraft 3. Diablo 2. And (stripped down, of course) versions of these not so old games Marvel VS Capcom 1 2 and 3 Dawn Of War. And while We're at it, since they are gonna release Movies like Avatar on the 3DS, who's up for Entire Anime Series (12 EPS most likely) released on these little busters?

The older you get, the more you're prone to being able to take what remains of your happy childhood along with you whereever you go; hence the popularity of old-game ports on new consoles.

Want someone to blame? It's the average consumer. They're going to want a little more from this little powerhouse in their hands, thinking "if ____ can do it, why can't [this thing I have with comparable power]?" Featurephones (that's "dumbphone" to you smart alecks) have camera's. They can also play music and video's too! Let's not forget with today's texting society they're forgetting to make calls these days. Want to know the biggest facepalm? The iPhone can play games too! You don't even need a button for it either! *cat-paw-with-nails-extended-to-the-face palm* /sarcasm I think if you manually quote someone it might not have the minimum character limit (been awhile since I tried it, forum upgrades went steady since my last regular visits) As for me, I'd buy it if it ever jumps aboard the 3DS. With my level of brain memory, I remember things for a very long time before I feel the craving to re-visit it again. For example, after watching a movie, I'll see it again 6-13 months later when I start to forget one line in the movie. Or a game, once I beat it, I'll have to play say about 20 other games in order to forget the controls, which is not even mentioning that I'll need several years to forget the experience. So yeah, that I haven't touched an N64 in 11 years means I'm up for experiencing those games again. I don't even want to bring in the arguement of Movies -> DVD (AKA the "I already saw it at the theater, why should I buy the DVD" excuse) That's probably what I'm feeling too. If there's one thing I don't want to remember, it's that I'm getting old |
