Well then, what other ways besides forum posts should we spread the word? Should we make a Youtube video, banners, Facebook, other things like that? I think we need to let as many people know as possible.

Creating the post on Aksys was a great accomplishment for all of us, but we can't just stop there. It's not enough.

I feel that's a pretty good way to draw in support. We just have to attract attention from other places we all frequent... blogs, other gaming/anime forums, image boards, social networks (Facebook, Twitter), etc. wherever else you go outside of Asuki, is another place to spread the wonders of Ever 17 . And then tell them about the game and direct them right to the Aksys thread and request then to show their support in the thread.

I briefly wrote on the wall of the Ever17 group on MyAnimeList though it is a small group. May personally write on member walls of the group and look for visual novel groups as well.

I'm not sure if that'll be more effective then just focusing efforts in the couple of threads already made. At least there we know that people who are excited about the games and have an interest will be able to see our message. I feel a separate thread might die out too soon, especially if some of us aren't members there to keep it active.

Perhaps by adding some more descriptions about the plot, the characters, why they would like it, etc? You could take some excerpts from the topic post.

You guys know any good reviews for Ever17? Gonna post them on Aksys thread so people unfamiliar with the game will hopefully find some understanding.

I don't do consoles (never have, never will), but if they release the spiffed-up version for the PC in English, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.

The original English version is endearing in its own quirky, typo-infested way, but having the revamped version would give me an excuse to play the game again from scratch.

Not that I need much of a reason to, mind you, just that I would have an excuse.

Thing is, there is no spiffed up PC version. So far, there only is an Xbox 360 version. I'd rather take the spiffed up version now, as there's no guarantee that it'll be ported onto the PC. This is probably our only chance to try to get the remake into English in some form.

...and possibly our only chance to get it cheap (at least, with respect to eBay prices) is to get the XBox360 version early...

So it's not just a stick-on-extra-content remake, but a partial rewrite. I'm now looking forward to it even more, yet hoping that they don't go overboard!

I hope they didn't remove kick-the-can completely. I've heard many people say that it's too drawn out (which I somewhat agree with), but

Now I'm even more pumped than ever! This has only increased my desire for this to get a localization!

Wonder what they're going to cut out. Chicken sandwiches, maybe? (Unlike everyone else, I didn't have any problem with those scenes.) On that note, what will be revised?

Still no word on those new scenarios. Well, whatever. Maybe they're spoilers or something.

Hmm, re-recorded, huh? Why do I get the feeling that this time around, Takeshi's going to sound exactly like Keiichi (I mean moreso than last time)? Either way, I hope they all sound the same and possibly voice it even better than last time! (I hope Coco isn't as high-pitched this time.)

Saving up for that LE now. I hope it comes with another booklet like the PSP versions.

I agree though, I hope they don't get too carried away.

I agree, while I didn't find it haunting, I can still remember the Kid's voice when he said that as clear as day.
