Animation Production: Tatsunoko Production

Release Date: September 10, 2013

This three episode OVA is being bundled with the limited edition of the manga volume 14th, 15th and 16th. The first OVA was released on September 10, 2013. The second episode came out today. I've a soft spot for this show for taking the easy-going daily life approach to tell this story that could have been pretty boring if the anime production wanted to interpret it that way. The 2008 version is a perfect example.

So anyone watched either of the episode? I'm currently watching the 2nd episode.

It's based off Wandering Pilgrimage, right?

No, it's based on Tsuki no Naku and mountain pass town.
