What did you see when you looked at the Rafflesia before? The thing was pretty much designed for tentacle raep XD

@figures in those links: Those are all certainly high quality works, but I don't quite like the look of them. I certainly wouldn't buy any of them.

You know, I have yet to see a Fate figure that made me want to spend money on it. Me thinks she won't be part of my figure collection for a long time... Well, aside from those gashapon.

Maybe if there was one of her in her Enforcer uniform...

I think adult Fate with her hair in twin tails looks bad, pretty much. That's why I won't get the Figma of her (same reason I chose movie 1st Nanoha over StrikerS Nanoha). If a Force version of her gets released, I'd definitely consider it.

For other figures, it's mostly the price that turns me off. I don't like Fate enough to spend that much money on her.

It's not just Fate though, I won't pay that much on figures period, no matter how good they look and how much I wish I had them. Typically I go for things under $30-$40 pending on the scale and quality.

Preordering the Actsta Teana is a really, really freak case for me and normally I would never do it, but... Just like you're willing to spend lots of money to get an Alter Fate, I'm willing to do that much for Teana (though I wouldn't have if she didn't have the hair down option).

30-40$ range pretty much nixes most figures for Fate and Nanoha. I think their popularity allows for figure companies to price gauge their figures or something.

Well, figmas are in that range, at least. Goodsmile and Alter have long since started dropping prices that exceed 100$ per figure.

Figmas really are the best bang for your buck. They may be smaller and the joints may be distracting, but the quality is high, they allow for different poses, and they come with a ton of accessories like alternate faces and stuff. That's why $30 is worth it.

After that it's just the matter of finding a figure that shows the character in the state I like the most. I mostly function under a one figure per character policy, so this aspect is quite important and why I'm so picky.
