I never claimed that my idea was original. It's hard to have original ideas - writing something original with a previously used idea is simpler.

I have no idea how that became a starting point for a discussion about yaoi. After all, Haruki doesn't even exist in this idea.

As a minor sidepoint, why do most people who write and put anything about Kyonko actually make her be addressed by that? Kyon is a nickname, after all, so there's not much need to make it feminine. O_o

Differentiation. Within the story the name doesn't change though.

Around here it makes sense but for some reason in fanfiction and most things I've seen, Kyonko is actually addressed as that, which seems pointless.

Ah, I forgot to mention the reason for Haruhi changing Kyon. Basically the opposite of the yaoi idea, though she doesn't get into anything in the first place.

Actually, Haruhi's reasons are entirely selfish. Though Koizumi's going to get involved at this at some point (if I can concentrate long enough to write the thing, though why I'm even talking about it here I don't know).

And no, I, at least, don't think that anything romantic/sexual would happen between the two of them. Shutting them in a log cabin in winter would not make much difference in their relationship.

Maybe after a couple weeks without rescue, but...
