Ohmygod. Ohmygod. I can't believe it REALLY happened. The sense of dread was palpable about a quarter into the chapter, with the typhoon and all as pretty obvious foreshadowing. The sense that something bad was going to happen was too obvious, but it didn't make it any less agonizing. With just three more chapters to go, of course the plot has to take a such a turn. I'm going to expect the worst, just to set myself up for less pain and perhaps relief, if things turn out for the better after all. At this point in time, I'm not going to rule out a tragic, bittersweet ending. Y U DO THIS TO US, OBATA-SENSEI??

Yes, I know what you mean. As soon as I read that chapter, I made myself put it out of mind completely. I don't think I'll be reading this series again until after it is over.

If Nana dies, I really don't think Yano would have anything left to live for. I mean, after everything he put her through, he was finally coming back to face her, and then this. And, technically, it really was his fault this time. If he hadn't abandoned Nana in the first place, this never would have happened. I can only hope that Obata-sensei is f**king with us this time, and pulling one last cliffhanger right at the end of the series. Let's hope.

I just saw the raws for Chapter 69 and also read the summary. It's not what you guys think. All is good
Although, the last bit of that chapter really made me cry. It was so sweet, it made me cry tears of joy. And the drawing of Nana and Yano in there... gosh :'(

Though I was expecting an ending with Yano, Nanami and their children, I'm satisfied with just a happy ending

It was such a looooooong ride, but it was worth it. This manga is certainly one of my favorites.

Looking forward to Obata-sensei's new work!

At last after all this time a happy ending... I thought that this day would never come but I guess that now I feel satisfied for this turn of events.
I really wish that now I would be able to watch a second animated season...

A bit frustrated with this happy ending. . . I guess I never expected Takahashi and Yano to even get a happy ending. The last chapter felt way too surreal but I guess it sort of closes Bokura Ga Ita perfectly.
