That's because SH actually cover an entirely new plot with an entirely new set of protagonist. Can't compare a sequel with a series continuation under new title. Just imagine New Testament with a completely new protagonist with no direct connection to the old Index(kihara, aleister, 7 level 5 only as cameo) and you can imagine why the sales drop that much.

Wow I really have been out of touch with DRRR if I didn't know there was a new MC. Though that does explain a lot.

I could say that is true and I had a bad day, but this isn't the first time I've seen you people let your blind hatred for something cloud your judgement and make you say stupid things like "I hope the sales suck cause that'll show them!" or "Miki is to blame for all the stuff I don't like!" or that most ironic "good things happen to good series, bad things happen to series in decadence" so forgive me if I'm a little jumpy around you guys whenever you make these kinds of statements.

But yeah this is going off topic so just take it that I overreacted which is fine, I hope that's the case.

Edit: I almost forgot the classic, "railgun would skip the sisters arc because people can't handle it!"
