Yooka-Laylee
From ex-Rare devs!
Well, here we go again.... whereas Mighty No. 9 is something of a successor to Mega Man, here we have a game meant to succeed Banjo-Kazooie, made by the original devs no less! Only this time, we replace the bear and bird duo with a lizard and bat instead! I'm assuming that extended discussion of the campaign while it's in progress is prohibited once again, but at the very least, this project has pretty much already far surpassed the initial goal, so congrats, Playtonic Games! Now let's just hope that no silly controversy rears its ugly head again like it did with MN9.... And I'm not gonna lie.... I'm kinda mainly in it for the soundtrack. I mean, a dream collaboration between David Wise and Grant Kirkhope!? Sign me up, baby! |

Oooooh, GRANT. You musical beast.
I can't wait for this, my childhood joy of Rare platformers is already returning. My favourite will always be Conker's Bad Fur Day, but I've got a special place in my heart for Banjo Kazooie and Donkey Kong 64.
