This was a pretty alright SoL, definitely not my favorite and tbh, the only big things that stuck out for me were how sweet Yui was and all the blatant yuri. Come on guys, did you typo the name for this show? Isn't it supposed to be Yurishiki?

I wouldn't mind more episodes, that's for sure.

Actually I was amused how the yuri started out as subtext, then exploded into full text by the second half.

Agreed, but they're all pretty good. Risa Taneda (Yukari - that was Saki in Shin Sekai Yori? And Kaoru in Oreshura? Talent to watch out for!) impressed me this week with her faked laughter (after Yuzuko said that thing about making her laugh). The show has an impressive subtlety in both animation and voice performance. There are many of those blink-and-you-miss-it moments; sideways glances, body language... They really put work into the minutae with this show, and it pays off big time.

This is something I notice in every anime that does it and something that always improves it for me, I love animation that does this

Anyways, seems Yui leveled up over the year unlike her two poor friends XD traitor indeed

The show went with random thoughts and stuck with it. Last episode was one of the best ones, though I greatly enjoyed the show overall.

And damn, Yui is sexy. And cute as hell when she gets all embarrassed.

Quite possibly the anime of the season for me. Loved the off-kilter humor and the show felt like a spiritual successor to Kill Me Baby and Nichijou.

Although I'd love to see another season, the end card was beyond satisfying. Definitely looking forward to more of this studio's works.

This was just a great series and Yukari sleeping face drooling was just so cute and Yui in her new bikini

Good end to a great show. Going to miss all the characters. I'm definitely going to miss Yuzuko's random bursts, and her rather amusing reactions/faces.
Do hope a S2 comes around later, would love to see both group of girls interact with one another more, along with Yoriko thrown into the mix.

Ahh, the final episode was great. The characters all really grew on me, and Yuzuko makes the most wonderful noises. Although I wished the side-characters appeared more, especially since there wasn't much of Fumio the entire season. Definitely hoping for a second season.

Nice catch Dawnstorm....in hindsite their voices sound similar, Yukari's characture sounds so "airey" that its hard imaging her as the cool-headed Saki;
difference btw the anime couldn't be bigger as well....esp the difference btw the atmosphere of the settings!

Was it me or did I notice more fan service in this episode?
Like Aikawa's swimsuit image or Yui's curvaceous bode on her bed!
I know that we earlier saw "Okasa-sensei" in fan-servicie views as well.

Like others mentions, the Yuri subtext became actual pronouncements of love btw
Yuzuko/Yukari to Yui; funny how Yui haltingly tells the other girls she loves them as well, while throwing off there yuri-isms!

Loved this series for how the girls used language, sounds, and puns to make a humerous, light hearted dialog. Hope for a 2nd season as well.

Your probably right Mokoko! We guys seem to see "SEX" in themes btw women, while they seem to see "Emotions."
I think this behavior is more tolerated socially btw girls than btw guys. Good example is all the Yaoi moments in Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru,
especially btw Hikigaya and Sai-chan. As a guy it kinda creeps me out, but if I imagine their genders reveresed, it would be completely "acceptable" like in Yuyushiki.

yes yes BUT.......... I imagine that you're a girl 'heterosexual' same as your friend, yes?

so... have know that when girls are Heterosexual and they say "I love you" to another friends ... have understood that this is "I love you" "friendly"

but when it's "I love you" said by girls that we know "lesbian" there is chance that it is the "I love you" real

but still did not know the sexual orientation of the girls have seen say that (example : Yuyushiki) may have to say and imagine something full of "I love you friendly?" or "true : I love you"? I am right?

So as have not really know if the characters of this anime are lesbian or not those who think it is "yuri" are right and those who think like you that it is not "yuri" will right too

and me I think this anime finally is true "shojo-ai"

I've seen some mention of the soundtrack in earlier discussion; my curiosity led me to find that the soundtrack itself is set to release on July 17. I look forward to hearing the music to one of the most carefree series I've seen in a while.
