The new Shinohayu chapter basically went like this:

"Ok, I know she'll be trouble if I'll let go of the dealership, so I should..."

"No. Bird time."

And then the cutest hawk mauled everyone

In a more seirous note, it feels really good to see Shino came out this strong after all the talk of how much the entire team sucks, because that was getting really old. It was also very nice, even if predictable, seeing how much trust the (original) team has for Shino. They're used to the kind of miracles this angel can conjure up

One of Shino winning hand is old Yaku called Fuugetsu which (according to TL note) literally means Flower-Bird-Wind-Moon. This is similar right? Well, Saki represents "flower", Shino represents "bird", Koromo represents "Moon", and Nelly represents Wind. :P

Chapter 172 is out.

Vice captain match is in full swing as Shindouji's lewd bondage Mahjong play begins in earnest. With yet another chapter the artist can't be bothered to finish on time considering the drawings at the end. Honestly this is just getting embarrassing at this point. Have some pride in your work woman!

At this point she might as well be doing the Yamcha pose everytime a game ends, and this one seemed to be 100% her fault, no supernatural shenanigans involved. Gotta say, much as I like Shinohayu, it hurts to see Kanna's biggest contribution being, apparently, bringing Kyouka along and getting her unintentionally riled up to kick butts.

She wins more than she loses. It's just that her wins are never cathartic and more like 2-3 panel things. She was still top placement for the individuals and has won every match of hers... except the two hard ones. Aw well. It seems the author just loves to kick her down, so I'm guessing she's being setup for an eventual epiphany.

She kinda had one already, what she needs is a big win to revindicate her. The fact she hasn't got one is wgat had me so bothered last time.

On to the next chapter, that was an unexpected result to me, though it fits with the point that this match seems to be making in regards to the club.

In the meanwhile, the new Toki chapter was much more enjoyable, and nice to look at, partly because Toki continues being adorable, but also because of the proper introduction of Ryuuka's mom. One would think after the likes of Hajime, Kasumi or Nodoka's casual outfits, that this franchise could no longer awe you, yet this woman had me thinking JESUS CHRIST every page she was in (even Toki was impressed). A pleasant surprise, of course.

Do note that I'm just talking in regards to the outrageous factor here; Saki has plently of charming ladies that don't need to show much to impress.

Yup. With Kyouka losing the club's chances of winning now are pretty much nil. Hayarin might do great but in the captain's match they will need one of the other schools to win (or for the club president to unleash her true powers). That's about the only last chance they have.

She still gets read like a book, though. Also, Ryuuka once again goes into full "protect Toki" mode, and I seriously thought she'd just kick down the door to get her to a hospital. No wonder she was so emotional during the match with Teru.
