Don't give up hope for a second season, obviously based on sales this won't get one but Shueisha tend to try and push their properties. Might not get a second season but I wouldn't be surprised @ an OVA bundled with the manga tanks.

well medaka box is getting a second season, and from what i heard/readed the sales were catastrophic, though i do aknowledge the manga is more popular, but the anime 1st season was an awfully poor adaptation by gainax.

Do you follow the manga figures? Did it get a boost? If it does, it might make sense to make a new cour. Since things do escalate, it might make those who can't wait buy the manga and boost its sales again. A pity that Danshi Koukou is not getting a 2nd season with all its legendary seiyuus. *cough*, I can't help but digress......

Medaka Box was a split cour series from the start, I would say the highest chance of this having a second season would it also being a split cour series.... if you don't hear anything by mid November...

Nah I don't follow the manga sales, but I quickly looked it up for you.. this was the last volume that went on sale.

I guess you would have to wait until Volume 14 goes on sale to see any effect the anime may have had, if any. Doubt the manga would've been boosted much... if not split cour best case scenario is probably an OVA bundled with Vol 14 or whatever.

I really loved this series it was my favorite this year and it makes me a sad panda now that its finally over =[

Shame it isnt selling all that well as a second season would be awesome.

What a joyride this anime was. Pleasantly surprised at Kana's performance, stepping outside her usual soft spoken roles to someone with a fast changing personality such as Ichiko.

Reading through vol 12 of the manga right now and I have to say the comedy is an absolute hoot. This anime definitely deserves a second season.

That was an enjoyable ride. Its one of the few shows that kept me laughing in every episode, and its sad to see it end.

That was another great episode to end the season. Like so many other shows this season, I do hope to see a second season.

Clean Momiji can always return again. All Ichiko has to do is clean her up nicely again. It's like a vacation. She takes 7 days out of the year for a break.

I'm very pleasantly surprised at how well this show has been made, and I hope the story continues to be this strong. It is also very unfortunate how many good shows this season are not performing well on sales. I guess the anime industry has to pander to its core audience in order for sales to be boosted, and that, unfortunately, leads many good series to lower sales figures.

These characters are all very endearing, so I do hope to see them again.

What? That was them just burning money from production by doing a fake preview? Tell me it isn't so. HanaKana really pulled off a magnificent performance here to the point that it pulled ahead of Muv Luv as the second best anime of the season, and I would love to see more Ichiko. Especially more of the IchikoXTsuwabuki like that troll preview teased.

You know I just noticed this week the "spoiler" in the ending theme. For the people who read the manga might know what I'm talking about. It's nothing big but....it's kinda right there.

i suppose not enough fanservice, the sales got a high boost after the fanservice episode, but oddly enough it seems to have done better than some fanservice series this season.

Finally got to watch it, quite like how the show ends with the fight scene in the boat. One of the better shows this season.

So fake trailer at the end? Guess we have to wait a little longer for any news about S2.
