OK, I think this is pretty much established as my favourite show of the season.
I particularly loved the assistant's somewhat Edward Gorey themed picture story, but it's all good.

You MUST watch the bit after the credits.

Welp, this show is still amazing, lol. For pure entertainment value, the comedy and satire are great. I do think as a matter of total believability the show has stretched itself already (the chicken massacre; the factory manager's character) though so I wonder if it will hold up if it tries anything genuinely serious.

Wow. I mean just WoW! This episode was so wacked, but still so entertaining. I feel as if the author who wrote this anime/manga was high on shrooms when they wrote it.

If it goes serious, it will fail. The world can't be taken "seriously".

But, if it sticks to absurbist & dark comedy with social satire (more than social commentary), then it'll be brilliant.

Oh, and this episode was UTTERLY BRILLIANT. Both episodes have left me in stitches at the end. It's great.

Regarding the camera, wasn't it simply the gunshot sound the chickens were afraid of?

No. As the main character has already said, it's the exposure that got the chickens running.

Excellent episode... best show of the season

Subs again missed some points, but nevertheless the general idea was on the correct direction.

To be precise the board of directors of the evil-mega-corporation scheming to enslave mankind

From the top of my head... kami (no explanation), tori (mistranslated), meru (ignored). Probably more during the glasses x faerie scene. The worst was sensei from the first episode... what were they thinking?!

Anyway, I saw that a couple of groups fix these some days later, but haven't really checked to what extent. I also understand that it is extremely hard to translate these kind of lines, especially if done by a pro, instead from someone who has read and loves the source material.

What did I just watch... I love this show!
The part with the speech was suprising, all that time she was arranging her glasses.
The Story about the 7 kids was interesting.
Spoiler for 7 kid story ending:

Love this show so far. Nakahara-sans voice and the character design is pleasing to look at but her personality is so interesting. The plot has walked such a fine line between bizarre and serious. It's so comical, not laugh out loud but great entertainment. Just so unique, I hope they can keep this unique experience up. Reminds me of Tanaka's other work Rewrite in that it's just unique .
