Looks like Jojo got popular with the German army.
Well, at least he found out Speedwagon was alive.
So the pillar man was revived with a new name - Santana.
He sure had the Germans scared and surprised at the same time.
Some things are just not to be messed with.
Wonder how Jojo's gonna take him on. Can't wait to see that showdown.

Thought this might be of interest. After all, it could serve as a preview of the VAs for the other characters since thus far they've used the same ones from the game in the show.

Omg Santana is pretty much able to control every molecule in his body it seems..
And it turned pretty disgusting and gruesome...
Then the ED started playing and I went in despair.

I have to say Joseph is one heck of an entertaining guy. Manages to come up with creative methods of attack even in a situation like this. I'm more curious how they are going to get away from this guy. I mean JoJo might be clever on his feet and able to make creative uses of the Ripple, but this guy has a crazy ability. You don't even want to come into contact with him if you can help it.

A good way to start it up, having him take down a vampire with ease. Not surprising the Germans really messed up here.

Jojo's interesting uses of the ripple are getting better and better. Though i wonder how he'll fight Santana. That disguise was perfect though, don't know how the guards caught him.

It is an awesome voice cast, but unfortunately the anime adaptation is only going to be 25 episodes, so that would mean they're only adapting Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency

That so? Shame since part 3 is the one I've actually been looking forward to from what I know about JoJo already. Not to say the current parts aren't entertaining though, Battle Tendency is turning out be be one hell of a fun and entertaining watch. I already like Joseph more than Jonathan too.

Maybe we'll get a second season that'll cover part 3 if this does well enough.

Hopefully. I wonder why they only chose to adapt parts 1 and 2?

Perhaps to see how the reaction is? Part 1 and 2 are the shortest unlike the later parts, which would require a lot more episodes.

I get the impression that the plan is to continue animating the series should sales for this first one prove successful, which hopefully it will. I imagine the next series then would be Stardust Crusaders. And should that prove successful, Part 4 could get a series and so on and so forth.

That could keep them going for years given how long the series is, so it makes sense to test the waters rather than just invest in doing the whole series when it could end up cancelled or something.

I really hope to see more since I honestly don't know much about what happens past Part 3. A general idea, but nothing more.

Edit: Aww, JoJo is on a break next week it seems. Episode 13 isn't out till January 4th.

Its late-night anime, the episode number are fixed.. They just have plan for 26 episode to 2 part for now, if they want (if its profitable) they just create more season, JoJo's formula are more suited with that way anyway.

EDIT : Even if they does make more season, its wouldn't came out straight away we must wait a little bit.

It's probably do to Sugita, but I can't not see Joseph as Gintoki, their personalities are quite similar, I have to wonder if Joseph wasn't an inspiration for Gintoki

Sorry for the double post but just a reminder to all JoJoBros, the next episode will be aired on the 4th of January, not today.

The performance of Stroheim's voice actor is praiseworthy. And those goofy moments from the beginning proves that Sugita is the right pick for Joseph.

I think the direction and neckbreaking pacing helps at not paying much attention to art and animation quality. Also the voice acting.
