I never got the whole "Men were killed off in a gender cleansing" idea some fanfic authors seem to have. Just because the IS makes them superior doesn't mean they suddenly get the urge to go on massive killing spree's like genocidal maniacs. Making a gun makes me more lethal than the guy who doesn't have a gun (unless he's some kind of badass), but that doesn't make it that I suddenly want to kill all guys without guns.

Basically the show has women given so much advantages that the hopeless ones find it easy to imagine that men have no place at all.

I think it's suppose to be some 'last ditch effort' to show the world that guys are 'men' and that they can still do what they've done for ages past - die in droves. Which is what it amounts to. Male pride at it's finest.

And using the fact that the men 'rebelled' would be the reason why they need to be locked up or something to that effect since we can't be trusted and need to be herded like cattle. We rebelled against an overwhelming force of power - of course they'd curb stomp us. It's so easy to think that it could happen because we have actual idiots in the government who would drive for that sort of thing.

Men will side with women (either out of cowardice, money etc etc) while Women will side with Men (Out of kindness, pragmatism, or realizing the human race will die off if one one gender bites it). And yet fanfic authors put "All women all over the world suddenly decide to kill all the males......at the same time!".

Yep, I plan to add some pseudo-complex vibe on the Gotandas too, but subverting my usual stick, nothing serious come out of it.

In V3 arc, Dan actually clashed with his jackass of a grandpa (who is more or less male version of Chifuyu) and run away. Ichika's mission is basically to track him.

Here is when both Dan and Ran undergo character development (Dan also got a permanent part-time job with Kirishima corp as Game Master

)

After that, beach scene and gospel XD

Like I said, gender cleansing is too farfetched. To be blunt, most writer use it for cheap drama and grimdark. At least some of the better writer pull it off miraculously into an engaging plot.

I pick a middle ground by taking canon explanation and extrapolate from there.

According to Projectrho, up to 10 times as powerful as unchanneled ones, usual 'realistic' figure is about 3-6 times as powerful.

Mind you this is against armor, in the vacuum of space. In space, no air to transmit shockwave and generate EMP, only heat and radiation whose power decreased exponentially with range (E2 = E1/(R2/R1)^2)

And yes, against I.S. it's quite overkill if hit.

I plan to introduce 'smaller' version with fusion warhead. Unlike fission (or as layman call it: 'atomic') weapon, fusion do not have MINIMUM critical mass and thus no minimum yield, only tech decide how small they can be
