An unorthodox way to present a trailer, but looks interesting. Some of the bits there looked quite promising.

I'd have to say that the old ova seem to have better animation then this, but i might be getting a bad impression because of youtube\camera..

anyway the animation still seems good, just not -as- good as the old ova :P

I dunno, it looks quite nice in some of the sequences in that trailer. The one at the end with her jumping down the side of the building looks really nice. If they keep that quality for the entire series, it'd be awesome. =o I don't like Tsutomu's glasses much though and the characters are definitely have a much more youthful look compared to the manga or even the old OVA.

Anyway, I'm definitely in rawr. I <3 Birdy.

Oh and Wallpaper rawr. I cleaned up scan and used the title from the manga on it. I can make larger versions too if anyone wants it.

First let me wipe a tear at how this has been relegated to what, the fourth page of the Unaired forum or something :'(

And now for an update from the main site, there is a relatively full cast and staff list now. We have Maaya Sakamoto, Hiroshi Keiji Fujiwara, Kenichi Suzumura and Kaori Nazuka joining us - all seiyuu Akane is familiar with, of course.

The CGI and art design looks to be the same guys from Noein, which I'm happy about, but I'm curious about this additional credit: 特殊美術デザイン (Special art design), I wonder what this is about?...

Wow, a great voice cast overall. I'm looking forward for this even more now.

Does anyone have a bigger version of this scan
and could anyone translate the info on it (if it's worth translating). Thanks in advance.

Here it is. Unfortunately i don't know Japanese, so wait for someone else translation (assuming that there's something worth translating).

I hope some good animators like Hiroshi Okubo will work again under Akane.

The only worthwile news seems to be the exact airing month (July), but other than that, it looks like standard-issue interview. Though the date is set as 7/5 on AniDB, so I guess that must not be a very recent scan.

Don't trust me for this, though, my Japanese vocabulary is subpar and I'm too lazy to grab a dictionary :/

Thanks for the scan. I'm really liking how this is looking. Only character design I'm a little disappointed about is Tsutomu. I don't know what it is, but he looks different from the '96 OVA. I think most of it has to do with his hair. Anyway, looking forward to July 5th.

Oooh, nice scan. If I have time, I'll read it and report.

Tsutomu's design is definitely pretty blah. In fact, his design is exactly like his sister's from the current iteration of the manga. It works for her but not for him. =/

There's genderbending and I don't mean simple drag. I mean complete anatomical conversions. Pure grossness.

Yep maaya-sakamoto... my personal favorite, I must watch for sure! But I guess this will not be a popular one. I always am interested in the less popular series.

Tetsuwan turned shota?? Whatever. The ova back from a decade ago sported some badass action, so I'll bite for now.

My thoughts exactly. At least Tsutomu and Birdy looked like the same age in the OVA. I wonder if they're going to put the nude mags in the show again
Could someone check if there's any useful info and also translate the bubble from the magazine. Thanks.
