Well ... Cordelia, being a performer, could certainly "doll herself up" in various ways to look slightly different - how she looked on stage at that point and how she looks "in formal attire while traveling" could have a wide distance between them....

Mystery loli makes me thing it's Cordelia, but also gives me the idea that Victorique has a sister??

Well not a bad way to wrap up the arc. A bit disappointed with how some things were changed/left out, but can't fit everything into an episode.

Definitely showed how much Victorique cared putting herself through the agony of holding Kujo from that ledge and putting his survival above that pendant. Was also nice to find her asking the same question that Kujo did. Obviously the answer hit the both of them pretty hard. Though good save by Victorique with the lie about what her question was. No way her pride could allow her to admit she was crying over being told something like that.

Herminia proves that the crazy person is sometimes actually crazy. Can understand a kid being a bit messed up by a prophecy that everyone treats as the truth. Though I'm not sure that killing the elder was the optimal way to prevent her own death.

It is rather like shooting the messenger, but really, it makes as much sense as there being prophecies at all. And at least she knows that king won't be killing her just to prove the accuracy of his prophecies...

I thought Victorique might have a twin sister based on the OP, the part with two of them back-to-back.

Just got Vol 1 & 2 of the novels yesterday. Looking forward to them!

mmm. Nina face. this show continues to be the best of the season. the added romance factor only makes me want to watch it more. it seems like they're doing it in a very "real" way, not the roundabout way many animes do it now and days. I was starting to get emotional when Victorica was like, "this isn't when we're supposed to part."

mystery loli makes me wonder what the next arc is going to be. next ep seems to be filler, then they'll probably finish it off with a longer, 3 or 4 ep arc. i can only wish this gets another season.

At least she hurt her hand, lol. I just checked v2 of the novel, and the scene is substantially the same (p356-362). Must suspend disbelief. Must suspend disbelief....

He's pretty short and scrawny too. In times of stress, people have been known to perform great physical deeds, and it's not like she had to hold on for very long. The real question is how he didn't drag her down with him, but if the ground was at a slight incline, or if she had something to hold on herself, maybe it could have worked.

Herminia setting her whole village ablaze is harder to believe, for me. Even without the timing.

Maybe they were holding on to Victorique's feet. That would also explain why she didn't go over...

I was wondering about that myself, with the whole both of them sitting on top of a lake while the camera swirls around showing two of them eventually become one.
