It seemed sweet after Mutsuki learned his past and started to understand him.

What is even worse is the aforementioned squadmate is the one his mentor specifically asked him to rescue.
Urie in earlier chapter always did want to prove himself and get a promotion. Now that he is a leader, this is one hell of a trial for him to overcome.

If Urie fails to save Mutsuki, then I can't imagine him ending up in a good place mentally and emotionally, especially when he finds out that Kaneki has left the CCG.

Define save. Mentally? Physically? I mean now that she found out what she is I imagine her going rouge. She can't return to normal society nor can she enter ghoul society unless the quincy steel container. Either way she is now dangerous to society. So the only way to "save" her is to kill her no?

By save, I mean physically. I don't see any way she can be saved mentally at the moment. Best case scenario is that they can capture and lock her up in the steel container, where they can work on helping her mentally. Vaguely similar to what Arima had to do with Kaneki, though these two case have their differences. Keep in mind, that's what I simply feel is the best case scenario, I am fully prepared for the possibility that they will have to "save" her by granting her a hopefully quick death.

Even in the best case scenario Urie will most likely become a scapegoat. i.e. "You didn't get to her in time.""We put so much money and effort into her operation and handling and now due to your negligence our effects were wasted."etc. etc. I can easily see Matsuri Washuu disowning him as well if Urie does "poorly" on Rue Island.I really hate that man.

Yet to be said at this point. Erm I am a bit confused was Nashiro implanted into Kurona? Or did she eat her sister, become a Kakuja and her Kagune became like that? Then again she has 4 Kakugan? What on earth did Kanou do?

We are about to find out. At the moment Rei is the best candidate to be killed, lol.

It hasn't been revealed yet. I doubt that it's Suzuya though.

Yeah I feel the same. Is it bad of me that I want it to be Matsuri Washuu?

Really? The dualism of the Special Class 'following his master' last chapter and Hanbee saying it's natural for an Investigator to follow their master this chapter made me think even more that it's Suzuya. Of course, it's all too possible that that's a red herring (or I'm just overthinking it to begin with).

I love that cover, too.

If so it makes sense...sadly. I mean he was taken in when he was injured, became a test subject and went crazy. Kuro survived the raid, Kanou did who knows what to her using Shiro's body, kagune etc. Both went pretty nutty and Amon was suffering with them and were discarded together. They were called failures(floppy) and were "taken care of" by Aogiri. Amon after shock must likely wanted to learn about what happened to the sisters so he could come to terms with his situation...and Shiro was the only person to be called comrade. (Since they were CCG, turned half ghoul+Ken was nowhere to be found)

Kurona's vengeance is strong...I expect more bloodlust in the upcoming chapter.

I actually kinda liked the fight this week.

Yeah me too. I was like eureka! Finally a good fight. Also a Kagune-Quinque. How BA. Also does Kuro now have a Bikaku, Koukaku as well as the initial implant of a Rinkaku?

Not at all. I'm sure more than a couple of people want that.

His master isn't dead though. I'm skeptical on whether they would use the phrasing" following his master" when the masters in question hasn't passed on yet. I'm not too sure about the other special investigators, but I know some of them are missing partners that could have had more experience than them and thus could be seen as a "master" of sorts.

Yeah, it definitely isn't a perfect fit (though Shinohara is about as close to dead as it gets while still having a pulse at this point). We'll see whether or not it's Suzuya--and whether or not he's even actually dead if it is--I suppose.

I'm still really on the fence about that line from last chapter. Spoilers I've read say that the actual line means something along the lines of martyrdom, which is relatively different than following a master (though not mutually exclusive either), and translations have been less than perfect in the past.

Maybe they were talking about Big Madam since she was Juuzou's master.
Or should I say Juuzou Suzuya was Big Madam's pet, she even named him & had him neutered(castrated).
