I don't get all the complaints about Natsuru's male voice.... i didn't hear any complaints about Hayate's VA's when it appeared in anime. Natsuru's male voice is close to what hayate's voice is.

Me personally doesn't dislike his voice.

umm, because hayate is like a youth and Natsuru is like a teenager, soon reaching to be a man?

But Inoue marina doing the male voice was a mistake. (IMO)

The voice does not match the face that is saying it.I think that a more manly voice should be used.

I agree, Paku Romi would be the opposite problem, too much for Natsuru. Perhaps Sawashiro Miyuki (thinking at Kurenai) ?
Looking better at the cast list though, I'm surprised that they couldn't manage to hire two seiyuu of both genders for Natsuru. A cast with Tamura Yukari, Horie Yui, Mizuki Nana, Inoue Marina, Nazuka Kaori, Asumi Kana, Noto Mamiko, Goto Yuko shouldn't exactly be what you'd call cheap, and yet...

I was actually thinking that she actually has some experience voicing traps (Ayumi from Shion no Ou), but I guess her female form in there wasn't what you could call cutesy, even if she had his own fanclub

Finally watched the episode. Good enough for me, but Iam not that excited, since it's those gender bending animes again. Akane's glasses disapear whenever she transforms. XD

I guess im really going to have to watch the first episode tonight. Lots of people have been buzzing my ear about this one saying its right up my ally. I never got around to reading the manga which is still on my list so i dont know too much about it. But seeing the VA list made my interest skyrocket.

Im waiting for my usuals to post their thoughts Shiroth, Mentar, White Manju Bun and Kaoru Chujo im looking at you guys

To sum up what i said, i enjoyed it quite a bit for what it delivers, and can't wait for more. Plus i'm a gender bending kind of guy, and the Gundam reference is still making me smile.

We kinda already did, you know ^_^;

Anyway, tl;dr version:

o Reverse harem around a guy transforming into a girl-fighter

o Girls are hot and strong-willed (at the very least in their Kämpfer form)

o Main lead will have to unsuccessfully fend them off (lucky SOB)

o Lots of action, lots of comedy, and a remarkable lack of reason/common sense

o Do NOT expect "quality anime". You'll be terribly disappointed. Use "Bond movie" mode: Turn off brain and watch the fireworks

==> Guilty pleasure. With emphasis on pleasure.

Ok so after reading you guys introductory points seems kind of fun and interesting. After i get some sleep i will definitely watch the pilot.

Kampfer isn't good, nor is it bad. The plot moves too fast and feels like you are in a car going 70 mph. However, gender-bending is fun to watch.

Based on the manga (which I realize isn't the source material), it seems like he's actually supposed to be a bit manly, for a girl (tall, rough speech, etc). So I'm not sure why he doesn't just have a normal guy voice.
