'Mark this forum read' not working

Something's up with the 'Mark this forum read' selection under 'Forum Tools'. It's not marking the forum read. Neither is viewing threads marking them as read. Only the main "Mark forums read" on the top level works.

I hate to dissent, but it is working for me.

I'm using Opera 8.51 and Windows Xp. What is your browser/OS?

PS. I doubt it is relevant in this instance, but I also have Java enabled.

It's working for me.

On an unrelated note (I didn't feel like making a thread for it since it's a minor issue), the reputation feature no longer opens in its own window. I remember that before the forum hacking, if you clicked the reputation button for a post, a small popup that displayed the same thing would show. Now, the entire page changes to what that popup displayed. (I sort of preferred the popup method myself.)

I agree. I'd also like to see it open as a pop-up once more. Thanks for bringing this up Ledgem.

BTW: What browser do you use?

Opera, of course! Don't you remember our PM conversations? You taught me two or three nifty Opera things that I didn't know about before that. I owe the "." shortcut to you, and I use it almost daily.

On an unrelated note, you're up rather early, unless you're not currently in NY (I am - where's my snow? sigh)

I remember, I just wasn't certain that you were still using it.

So far, we only know that this problem doesn't strike Opera users. Firefox or IE users might be having trouble.

hmm, interesting. Mozilla 1.7.8 WinXP on both my work computer and home computer.

I'll clear out the cookies, the cache and everything else and see if that fixes it. It's possible there's something wierd hanging around from before the reset that's confusing things.

I made a change to the cookie domain lately; I don't know if that has any influence
on this problem -- but if it is the cause, it should be solved by logging out & back in again.

logging out didn't work: (It didn't log me out either...)

I was having this issue too since yesterday - only at work, funny enough. I use firefix 1.5 both at work and home (I've really, really tried Opera since launch of 8.0. I loved the speed, but I didn't have the patience to really bring my total productivity back to the level I was used to with FF... anyway.), and only at one location did I have this problem.

Anyway, deleting cookies like warnold did solved the problem.
