Mayu - daughter

the whole fight between Nana, #35 and Lucy is very different

manga - During the fight, Nana turned on her "Evil Mode" which scared the hell out of #35 and very close to completely beat her when Kurama appeared. Then a lot of stuffs happened between the evil #35, the one carrying her wheelchair and Kurama (and Nana and Bando) which resulted in #35 turning into her "Good Mode".

Then Lucy came (Kouta got intercepted by the guards on roadblocks) and #35 tried to fight Lucy to protect her father, but Lucy got the remote control to the explosives planted in #35 and used it to her advantage to cut #35's limbs off. And that secretary girl risked her life trying to help Kurama to get the remote control from Lucy, knowing it's just a trap set by the evil Lucy playing with their feelings, but ended up sacrificing herself for nothing (the most shocking, emotional, and best scene in the manga IMO). she got killed by Lucy, the remote control destroyed by Lucy, without any hope, #35 struggled to Lucy and exploded trying to take Lucy down with her. Kurama, after losing everyone, shot himself.

Lucy survived,abeit losing her horns which result in her being "sealed" away,turning her back into Nyuu permanently.And Kurama didn't die but he became some sort of retard.

Six months after this,Nyuu become more intelligent and more like a normal human being then the retard she was.But then her horns start growing back....things was peaceful until the director start sending one of his son (who resemble Alucard from Hellsing) to retrive Lucy.

Now this son of his is a sadistic peadophile pervert and he use Silpelit No.28 as a living radar by amputating the lower half of her body and keeping the upper half alive using life sustainment machine and stuff what's left of her inside a metallic back pack.

What he found was not Lucy but Nana and Mayu. He promptly defeat Nana and almost got down to raping Mayu.But Mayu manage to get Bantou's help and of course that perverted psycho got his ass kicked by Bantou.Soon after this Kouta,Yuka and Nyuu arrived home.

Bantou saw Nyuu and remember about what the last thing her heard after he got blinded.He shot a bullet at Nyuu and Lucy got re-awaken.They went down to the beach to have a final showdown.

Things got off to a good start with Bantou having a upper hand with him using flashbang and Tear Gas.But of all thing,that nameless perverted psycho interfere to try to save Lucy which he pay for his life.Lucy recover and regain her advantage.Mayu shows up from now where and Lucy was not in the best of her mood at this time and she tries to kill Mayu.But Bantou sacrifiece himself to save Mayu.A good man to his very last.

Lucy after having satisfied her bloodlust turns away.Meanwhile,things are happening back in the lab.The lab have employed a new department head,a pockey addict, to replace Kurama.This guy is no nice guy compare to Kurama and he has his own agenda.

Turns out that the pockey addict has make 4 grown up clones of Mariko who he named Alicia,Babara,Cecilia and Diana.Those clones are absolutely obedient to his every command as they have a large part of their brains slice to put in place a mind control device.The director then order him to use those clones to retrive Lucy.

With informantion gathered from Arakawa (the horny professor's assistant), Pockey Addict and Daughters strike at Kouta's with the lab's SWAT team.Nana got taken down easily by the clones and Nyuu is helpless of course.Kouta got shot in the process which Nyuu witnessed.This triggered her to turn into Longhorn Lucy and she takes the clones down with the SWAT team easily.Kouta witnessed the massacre and he recalled everything.The last thing he said to Longhorn Lucy before becoming unconscious is "Long time no see....."

1 more day before we get to see the aftermath.....

He was her first and one and only true male friend. (Until Kouta decide to lie to her about Yuka.) Naturally she has feelings for him.

Why do you think Kouta is a loser? He has 2 females that he used to hang out with when he is little that still have feelings for him. I don't know what makes him a loser because of that. That just seems like life to me. Of couse in Real Life the girls NEVER are as hot as Yuka and Lucy...but this is an anime of course.

I don't think Kouta is a loser neither... except maybe after he saw the head of the professor, he goes "I see it, but I can't remember it, I have forgotten it, I have not seen it" part... but then I guess the trauma he suffered at his childhood make him develop the ability of... protective selective amnesia?

Sure he doesn't have all those wonder powers of vectors, which makes him look like a weakling in front of those Diclonus girls, but he's a normal human after all, so I guess that can't be helped...

in the manga during the #35 vs. Lucy fight, the Diclonus virus is released by that old man Kakuzawa to the atmosphere, so humanity is pretty much doomed already. Also that old man revealed a big head "God" that he has made... out of his own daugter (the black haired girl in the doujin game Elfen Fight)

As for why anime deviates so much from the manga... I guess they want to have a proper ending to the series, so they have to make an original ending themselves... let's hope they can make a good ending

Consiering there's not much difference between the manga and anime except for the last 2 ep of the anime....

Lucy is Lucy, whether it's anime or manga. All she wants is to be left alone.
