Nah, it has been confirmed that for vol 4-6 and vol 8, each package cover will be drawn by Kurahana and Ishida together. So Girl/Boy cover is pretty much confirmed for those vols.

Vol 7 will be drawn only by Ishida and vol 9 will be only by Kurahana. o3o kuro's Mykage/Fudou cover only has one chance there!

P.S:
Just for the breakdown, here's the confirmed artist for each covers:

Vol 1 - Kurahana (Amata/Kagura)
Vol 2 - Ishida (Mikono/Zess)
Vol 3 - Kurahana (Cayenne/Shrade)
Vol 4 - Ishida & Kurahana
Vol 5 - Ishida & Kurahana
Vol 6 - Ishida & Kurahana
Vol 7 - Ishida
Vol 8 - Ishida & Kurahana
Vol 9 - Kurahana

As you can see, vol 8 is a big anomaly there.

Ah, I should remind myself to look at all the BD/DVD listing details instead of each as they come.

Let's try speculating on the cover allocations then:

Vol 4 - Ishida & Kurahana - Jin/Yunoha or Andy/MIX
Vol 5 - Ishida & Kurahana - Jin/Yunoha or Andy/MIX
Vol 6 - Ishida & Kurahana - Fudo/Crea or Malloy(lol, will they even bother?)/Sazanka or Donar/Suomi
Vol 7 - Ishida - Crea/Sazanka? Crea/Alicia?
Vol 8 - Ishida & Kurahana - Operator Guy/Operator Girl Izumo/Alicia? Malloy/Sazanka? Donar/Suomi?
Vol 9 - Kurahana - Kagura/Amata redux with Kagura being the front this time (Yes please) or Fudo/Mykage or Mykage/Izumo? Oh I know, Operator Guy/Amata! *shot*

In any case it would be terribly unfair if Mykage didn't get a cover. He's too pretty the main villain, after all.

It's impossible for him not to get a cover at all. He was amongst the earliest characters to be promoted when the show was announced and still receives a fair amount of publicity. That plus his role in the story means he will get a cover for sure, whether it be with Fudo is another matter, though it seems quite possible imo.

Madman entertainment has announced they have got the rights to EVOL, this is interesting because madman very rarely sell a TV series not dubed (i remember they even had a dub for the second GITS movie made before the US did, using the original voice actors)
Can't see them putting to much effort in the DVD boxes as they nowadays just sell 26 ep shows over two dvd sets. And its to soon to say if they will do a BD release but i hope they will.

I'm surprised Jin and Yunoha aren't getting figures. Unlike Amata, they are the most popular characters of the show.

Actually I think the most popular ones are Mix and Andy, everyone is supporting them.

Seeing that Mix is the only one to have two figures in the Picoriru set shows her popularity.

Andy is the sad one to not even have a single figure.
