Both the mangaka and the anime studio were on drugs when making this chapter is the only explanation...
Asipira saw it..that loli... Spoiler for pic:
Tanigaki...what characther development with the two soldier and the whole situation. Well...did Hijikata implied the things i'm thinking about...that old samurai tell us too much with little if he is telling the truth.... What a chapter, a perfect rollecoaster of emotions. I know he was total psycho and a serial killer, but I'm kinda sad Henmi died so soon. He was just so entertaining.
The second half of the episode was incredibly tense. I actually thought Tanigaki had been killed for a second there. Time for him to strike back now. I had been thinking about it for quite some time because it's an extremely common twist, but Nopperabo is totally Asirpa's father, isn't he? The implication was pretty strong.

Wasn't expect Tanigaki to get caught in such a dire situation. I guess the one good thing about this whole thing is that his opponents aren't interested harming any of the Ainu people around him. Curious to see how he'll turn the tables with the little he has on hand.

The Begin so full of action and seems Lt Tsurumi is both a neo Shinsengumi and one take the most insane things of Hokkaido.
That Plot Twist, when Hijikata already mentioned it yeah Nopperabo was totally Asirpa Dad. Asuko Kochoube.. Tanigaki is now full Ainu, just Sugimoto is Next. Seems we're going to get a horror and murder story in the hotel in Sapporo |

A lot happened in this episode. Tanigaki's plan was pretty good, he would have gotten both Nikaidou and Ogata if Ogata hadn't been so damn lucky. At least thanks to Tsurumi's interference, he managed to get away and he's free to stay with the Ainu, so long as he doesn't get found again.
Sugimoto and friends had a new encounter. I don't trust that guy either, although I do think he's telling the truth about Asirpa's dad. Hinna hinna again. It's par of the course now. Next week is a murder mystery? Interesting.

Unfortunately for Nikaido whilst he may have plot armor as well, the writer clearly hates his guts. Plenty of blood and guts to go around still.

From a tense hunting to more lessons on ainu customs and sucking giant fish eyeballs. And somehow, it works. If that doesn't speak of this show's excellence, I don't know what will.
You mean anime cast? With that voice, I'm not as surprised as I probably should be |

What the hell is this show?
I'm liking it a lot but it can be so bipolar sometimes. Just see the first half of this episode were deadly serous gunfight with people getting mauled by bears and having their faces via torture. Then suddenly almost entirely second half has goofy things like eating giant fish with just you mouth and licking it's eyeballs afterwards. Yet, like Hinamatsuri that it somehow works and not even supposed to be comedy. That aside, interesting plot twist we have here, that said I there probably more to story about Asirpa than anyone has told so far. |
