Btw i notice some of the avatars don't loop. But are tween from last to first frame which usually result in a frame of white flash. Are those on purpose? I think some can be looped by duplicating and adding a few frames.

Yeah, it would look nice if this can be looped, but masking out the background is a lot work.

I rarely use the tween, because I don't like it. If I do, that may be for two reason:

1)No chance of making a smooth loop with the frames to my disposition
2)Simply the size or the quality of the gif would drop, given the 50 Kb limit, by adding frames. So I add just one (tween).

If you look at my current avatar, you'll notice how easily I could have tweened it, but I preferred to make a loop. But I spent a lot of time in the optimization phase, something I do only when I'm going to use a certain gif. (however that optimization isn't complete yet, there's still a frame I wish to add).

Ditto. Or otherwise extracting Nayuki out from every single frame. Too much work, and I'd rather a gif to be the closer it could to its original form.

As said, those are basically all requests. My favorite Kanon character is Shiori. Sure, Nayuki was more or less a close second at the end of the series, but you also can see how many statics are there. (and I'm not particularly fond of statics ) . Theclow is the main reason why you see (and you'll see) so many Nayuki avatars around

About the Hayate ones, I watched the series for like 8 ep but then I dropped lol so I am not quite sure who this character is, but she does look interesting lol, again great job on the avies =]

I was also about to drop the show at that point, but I resisted. Some episodes later (around 11-12) it started to become consistently better, mainly because it started using all the new characters (Hinagiku included) and not just Hayate-Nagi or Nagi-Hayate.

I've always wanted to make a composition about

that "travel" of Ayu throughout the 4 seasons, there were some pretty magnificent shots there and I always promised myself to do something with. Though, I never found the time to go through it :x . I'll post it here one day if I manage to do something ^^

Inspired from a Shakesperian mention on the episode thread, I made an attempt of conveying two differents kind of arts, Shakespeare's poetry and KyoAni's epical way of telling events. I think that art is art, even in the most different forms. Therefore two arts can live together

Did you write this? ^^ It's pretty fitting, not bad bah! xD. Although one thing I would like to say that doesn't fit would be the personalisation of the theme of the poem, by using the words I, my, etc. The use of poetry differs with context, but for now that's all I'm going to say (=.

Anyway

Here are two quotes I thought pretty much fit the theme of kanon coming from two separate perspectives depending on how you look at it. In bold they stand:
