Announcement
From now on, please use this thread for raw manga discussion only. A thread for the english edition by Viz has been created here: Hayate the Combat Butler manga (Viz Edition only) This was made so that both readers of japanese releases and of Viz english releases could discuss without worries of spoiling or being spoiled, other than avoiding confusion. If you had an opened discussion about the Viz release in this thread, feel free to bring it over there. Also a quick reminder (the first post has been updated), since the Hayate no Gotoku manga is licensed, the following posts are not allowed in none of the two threads.

Someone that understands japanese well can explain me what happens in chapter 4 and 5 in the volume 12(nagi's and hayate's chapters XD!-eichi scene-) because I understand something but my level is... and I think that the fact that hayate doesn't have interest in "nagi's body" or in nagi is because she's still a kid, I wonder when she *grows up(16-17)* what he will think of her, because 3 years is nothing...they can become a couple..., and the fact that hayate could end up with another girl can't be because nagi is his "ojou-sama" for 40 years so this means he will be 56-..or it can be that nagi accept another girl become hayate's girlfriend(I doubt).., but if in the end happens something and hayate can return his debt then a lot of things can happen here... I wonder...

Please Hina get it over with. And not to be a downer but i kind of wish the manga would end sooner rather than later. For a couple of reasons. To finally see who Hayate ends with, To see in the anime series, and before it really starts to get really boring. Even though ive enjoyed these past chapters, the story i feel has began to get repetetive with some things and if it continues it will really be bad.

I also hope Hina will get it out as well. Plot movement is always good, even in a silly comedy series, since that's what drives the series. Even if she succeed, there is still lots of story to be told, so I hope the author will take that step.

LCeh, thanks for your reports ... it feels as if Hina's development has clearly been the most meaningful storyline thread ongoing over the past few tankubons. And it will be VERY interesting to see how Hamster will react to the revelation (assuming that we don't get a School Rumble-like cop out)
Even if she does manage to break it to Ayumu, there's currently no chance for a Hina conclusion. But in a way I'd almost wish for her to rather confess and be rejected than slowly falling apart like this. Feels like walking on broken glass for Hina fans... ^_^; Hoping for her to regain her smile and self-confident optimism! |
