Every one is looking for translators.
We, Anime-Blitz are also looking for translators to work on both E's Otherwise and yes, Godannar :P

Please, form an orderly queue...

So a lack of translators is the reason why Anime-Blitz has slowed down on the E's? I see.

That's basically the size of it. The translator we had working with us has sort of gone awol... :/
We hope to release E's 25 hopefully with in the next few days though. But it may be our last release till we get a steady trans in, which may take a while. Which is a pain, as people are waiting on 1 more episode to finish the series then.... ((((((

Ok... I'm not gonna start a new thread for this, so:

Baka-Fansubs is looking for Translator(s) too.
The Translator(s) may choose the serie that they want to TL.

But on these conditions:
Must not be licenced
Not too many other groups subbing it (0-2)
Doesn't matter if old or new

The RAW(s) will be searched right after u have announced ur joining and what u want, if the RAW cannot be found u must choose another serie, do something we/others want or leave.

And if for some very strange reason more than 2 or 3 ppl apply, only the 2 or 3 fastest will be applied.

Nothing more.

Yours,
TaMz/Taimou
Founder, Timer, Typesetter and Encoder @ Baka-Fansubs

Can the translators choose to rename the group to something that doesn't sound so... uh... stupid?

Just an idle comment, I remember a conversation between ops on the channel of a respected fansub group more than a year ago. Something along the lines that groups whose founder is a translator are less likely to disband. Nevermind, that group disbanded some time ago

Or slaves, maybe. A translator can basically make and release a whole fansub by him or herself; the other jobs (timing, encoding) can be done by anyone. So don't treat them like baggage

I've started a group of my own and we need some translators as well, #anime-box(temp. name) on mircx. There are minor resrtrictions:
  • The project you chosse must'nt be licensed or hentai you may however, chosse an ecchi seris or a seris based on a h-game or any other genre.
  • You must be dedicated, speed doesn't matter as long as you don't go MIA on us.
In short the translators get to really run the group.

Plz pm, e-mail, or query me to get into contact with me.. Thks in advance for ppl who can help :P

PS: If you can find raws for us, that would be fine too. but its not a requirement. Also contact me with a seris in mind too(also not required) :P

Well, screw that. If an Utawarerumono anime ever comes out, I don't want to be restricted by my fansub group, I want to get on that ASAP.

I truely agree with you, this has been going on for sometime already I think.. I seen quite a few newly formed group doing that lately, they planned everything first then they go about I need translator for this and that blah blah, I mean hey, translator don't drop from heaven, if u happen to get 1, lucky you, you earn it. But going around saying you want a translator.. come on.. this aren't the market...

Lastly any project you chosse must get final approval by me the founder.
Look my friend... what are fansub groups for? And what are you fansubbing for?
Maybe asking you this question, you might not even understand them... so let me answer them for you. Fansub groups fansub anime to bring joy to all anime lovers, not for fame nor profit. You my friend, is fansubbing to get famous. What you simply want is to be able to show off infront of people that you are the founder of this and this group.

Btw, you run a fansub group and your translator pick the project and need to be approved by you after they picked it? Issit just me, or should it be the opposite lolz.
But then again, it's strange.. either way..

Oh ya, almost forgot... if you still think this is a market. Call me, I wanna buy you for the night if you don't mind.

Translators are talked about like objects just how everyother person in the fansubbing industry is. How else do you want to beg for translators? Asking for someone by job name is fine.

The cardinal rule of fansubbing is "Always keep the translator happy".

Remember that
